Loved the winner's dress with all the jewelry around the neckline and down the back! It looked so Miss Universe pageant to me.
Vincent is kooky, Angela does seem like a coatrider. It's a toss up who's next.

I loved the dress, too! When I saw it, I said "She's going to pick that one!" DH, DS9 and I always try to guess whose design is going to win! We all picked Kayne's design!

Yeah, that was sad. I felt really bad for him, he did look really hurt.

I was sad to see him go , I think Angela should have been the one to leave. I have a feeling she won't be around too long.

I won't spoil it for those of you who haven't watched yet, but I was in total disagreement on this one!!! I actually was starting to like this person!! Granted, the dress was not that great...but I can think of someone else who really should have gone!!

They should have kicked Angela's sorry butt off the island.

I was really starting to like Malan, too.

For as creepy as I thouht Malan was last week, I did feel sorry for him, especially after that story he told. Also, didn't Miss USA say no white, it looked like Laura and coffee filter guy used white.

I signed up for those insider text messages and one that I got said that Laura and Coffee guy used nude fabric, it looked white under the lights.

I think you are right. I watched the rerun and the dress looked soft pink in color. The lights washed the color out.

For some reason Nina loves Vincent. His portfolio must have impressed her. He is a nut!

Yes! It's driving me nuts. She is super thin and has no breasts. It's all rib cage and she shouldn't advertise that. Maybe she just irritates me after the mom in the minivan comment. Guess what I drive? In my defense though, I don't wear sweat pants.
She is talented though. Just needs to wear a turtleneck occassionally.

And, you know who I really don't like? Nina Garcia. I just want to hit her on the head with a frying pan. I don't know why I don't like her that well ... something about her irritates me to no end! Maybe it's b/c I can't stand the way she dresses? I keep thinking "You're a fashion editor and you look like a "Glamour don't"!

Rumor has it that tattoo guy is going to be the new Santino! I read something to that effect on the Bravo website! So, that should be interesting!!!! BTW -- anyone know what's tattooed on his neck? I always try to read it and can only come up w/a word or two here and there!!!!

I think that his name is Jeff. I saw Detroit on one tatoo on his neck. He does seem to the Santino for this season.

OK, I have the scoop about Jeffrey Sebelia's neck tattoo straight from People Magazine!

What's that scribbling around Runway contestant Jeffrey Sebelia's neck? His son's name, tattooed with "a lot of swirly calligraphy," Sebelia tells Scoop. Eighteen-month-old Harrison Detroit "is the love of my life, so underneath it says, 'l'amor de la mia vita.'" And i fthat's not enough to impress little Harrison, how about the pain Dad endured? The eight-our tattoo job, Sebelia says, was "brutal."

So, the tattoo reads:

Harrison Detroit
l'amor de la mia vita

Question, though ... shouldn't it be "de mia vita" and not "de la mia vita"?

Anyway, I had read elsewhere that Sebelia is the "new Santino" for this season!

First of all, I can't stand when the contestants go out and lie to the judges. I wanted Vincent, aka the nutcase gone in week 1. He totally reminds me of Woody Allen and not in a funny, good way. When they questioned him about the hat, he claimed that he wasn't sure about it either. Unless we lost something huge in the editing, that guy was all about the hat, even wanted to add some tacky red material to it just minutes before the runway show.

Second, I agree that I'm getting tired of seeing Laura's flat chest and ribcage. Not attractive and yes I'm a soccer mom with a minivan, who's been known to wear sweatpants (although they're pretty nice ones).

Finally, maybe because they still have so many designers, but why aren't we getting a chance to see all of them working on their creations. Last week, it was the Vincent and Allison show. I think the first time I saw at least half the dresses was when they wore them on the runway. Are the other designers that boring?

I was sorry to see Malan go and his exit interview was sad. His design had some flaws, but at least he knew what he was doing. His teammate Katherine had no clue and I thought her dress from the 1st week was awful.

It's really hard to make a prediction just yet for the final three, because I feel like we've only got to know 3 or 4 of the designers. The rest are still mysteries to me. I love my Wednesday nights .

I felt bad for Malan tonight. I think Vince is a crazy one. He looks like he can have a nervous breakdown at any moment. I don`t understand why the girl he was working with didn`t say to the judges she offered to help and he just told her to hang out.

I loved Robert and Kanes dress!

I think Vince is a very dramatic person and his drama almost got the girl (Andrea? Allison?) axed, especially since he kept saying "Oh, what she put me thru.....It was torture working with her.....She didn't work with me."
Well, I think he would have had the same problem with anyone. The things she was saying to him were constructive criticism and he just took anything she said as a huge wound. The judges only got his side and her "I was shocked" when they asked for her reaction. No wonder they wanted to get rid of her. But, the one to go should have been Vince, not Malan.

That was a raw cut edge of fabric. It wasn't hemmed and (probably because it was already too short), he didn't even it out at all. So, it was uneven as well as unhemmed.
I don't understand why his dress fit so badly. He made some comment about the particular model he had having a longer torso than most. But, they had to have had the model's measurements and somehow he screwed up (or maybe they gave him the wrong model's measurements).

I do agree that between Angela (or whatever her name is) and Malan, she should have gone rather than him. But I think it should have been between her and Vince rather than her and Malan. (Although I agree with the person who said his design looked like a yule log cake. That description so totally fits).
Vince is going to be really insufferable on the next show because he will be the poor guy who had to put up with her and the judges said they liked his dress. I think that's why they kept both of them on. There should be some fireworks ahead.

But they keep showing that the fireworks are between ribcage lady (Lauren) and the winner of the first challenge (Keith?)

They don't tend to keep the drama focused on the same person each episode, well, with the exception of Wendy Pepper whom everyone hated.
