so need some advice on what to wear. The interview is in 2 weeks.

I have a "suit", I am a woman btw, it is pants and a jacket, they are dk navy with a small light blue pin stripe, standard conservative cut with lapel type suit, bought at Kohls. I am thinking blouse or shell underneath, should I try and match the blue of the pin stripe, or go with a complimentary color, which one? I also was wondering about wearing a scarf, just under the jacket or should I go with simple jewelry.

Now my hair. I have just past my shoulders wavy/curly dark brown hair, no bangs, pretty much all one length. My DH says I need to wear it back or up because it it "sexy" hair, not professional hair. I think I look a little too mousy like that, but maybe that is the best way. What do you think about a head band or barette to hold it off my face, out of my eyes, but not all the way up?

Thanks

What profession? Honestly it will matter less for med school.

The thing about dress is that it communicates if you have common sense. Dress as respectfully as you can (this may mean that you put your hair up or it may mean that you leave it down - just look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself "do I look like I'm going out on a date or to a job interview?" - how you answer that question will let you know what to do.)

Also, take it easy with jewery - a wedding ring is ok, maybe a neckless but don't get carried away. And makeup should look modest. Also, nix the perfume. Some people don't like it, some are allergic and some find it distracting.

thank for the replies, I am nervous so that clouds my judgement.

probably should just go shopping
