So I completed a DCP Fall Advantage and an extension last year, then went part time until the middle of August while I waited for school to start (moved to NYC for graduate school, so staying with the company wasn't really a possibility). I went to apply for a PI that I can use for my summer practicum, and was immediately rejected. After a ton of panic and concern, I realized that it's probably because it hasn't been a full 6 months since I left the company.
Application closes Jan 27, my 6 month mark is Feb 10th.
I'm calling tomorrow, but does anyone know my chances of getting that restricted rehire lifted to apply to this program? I'm hoping there's a chance since it's so close to the 6 month mark, and that the internship wouldn't start until May.
