Going to VWL in October to Celebrate Silver Wedding Anniversary . We have never booked PS before as we liked the flexibility of choosing at the time with the children.

This time we want to make sure that we can get in where we want.

Can we book PS through member services, as living in the UK the phone costs to book through the normal numbers will be horrendous.

You can have Member Services book your ADRs (the new name -- advance dining reservations?) Be sure to be flexible, though, because full service dining has been in very high demand this year, and many folks have been reporting trouble getting premium reservations.

Just booked my adr's last week thru member services for Oct 21-Oct28. Had no problems at all.

Most of the reported problems with getting PS/ADRs is related to the free dining packages. The last day to check in and get free dining is October 4, so there shouldn't be too many problems getting what you want after October 9 or 10.

Other than the usual "tough to get" reservations like the Princess breakfasts, the only common complaints I recall at those who are upset with Disney's scheduling practices - i.e., the latest PS/ADR times available 90 days out are quite early - later times become available as it gets closer to the date.

I don't think it's been any tougher to get a PS/ADR this year than in years past - except for the days free dining is available.

We'll just have to disagree on this one. (I'll still read your posts, anyway, LOL)

We're early eaters, but I just made an ADR for Artist Point for 6:30 for this Saturday. We're hoping to make an earlier flight, we'll know on Saturday morning, (Pixie dust, please!) and I thought it would be great to buy the AP's and then celebrate with dinner at Artist Point and then go over to MK for Wishes before our guests arrive on Sunday morning.

I was concerned because of the Free Dining, but I got 6:30 at our #1 choice.
