Printing question-how to save paper and ink?

First of all, I really enjoy the boards and have gotten a lot of info to help plan our trips. I also enjoy seeing everyone's clip art and list of stays at Disney. My problem is that I have gone through several cartridges and almost a box of paper printing off info to keep and share with other WDW fans. Is there any way to turn off clip art and signatures when I am printing? It really takes a lot of time, ink and paper to print these things-some are quite lengthly and colorful. I appreciate any help....

I usually copy & save the text in a Word document. Then I can tweak it all I want, and condense & save.

I had to hunt for it, but there is another option. When you open a thread, scroll all the way to the bottom. Below the last post, and below the post reply button, at the bottom left of the screen is an option to <b>show a printable version</b> of the thread. Just click on the link and it will display the thread with no clipart or signatures.

UPDATE: Well that didn't work! Try going to the user CP, > edit options, and scroll down to the thread view options. Click no on the first 3 options there. This should turn off clipart and avatars and signature info. You could use this in conjunctions to the show printable version above to get a more printer friendly display.
