My friend is doing the Challenge with me-- it will be his first big race. He is in my PhD cohort and we will *fingers crossed* be graduating together this fall. He said he is nervous, and I told him not to worry because he has more than enough time to prepare and I'll be helping him. He said this: "And I know you will be a good trainer cause you’re a great teacher and great at fitness."

I don't think anyone has told me I'm "great at fitness" before but I'll take it! Haha.

I wonder if they lowered the number of people that could register at a time. That would extend the queue times, but might take some pressure off the system.

All set for my Warrior Princess return after having to skip this year's Princess weekend for cancer treatments! This has always been the Girls Weekend for my family, so I'm signed up for all 3 and my Mom and sister are set to join me for the 5K!
