Price for SUV rental 7/04

We need to rent an SUV for 4 days in July. On Hotwire, I was able to get $41.95/day before taxes, roughly $200 with the taxes. Does that sound like a good price? We usually use a towncar service and are not too knowledgable in this area. Thanks!

It seems a little high to me. I've rented an SUV through National at MCO, 8 days, Apr 10 - 18 for a total of 288.00 with taxes. This is the week after Easter, typically one of the busiest. And, I reserved it several months ago - now the price would be much higher. The further out you are from you rental date, the more you can check rates as they do fluctuate.

Also, I did reserave using and Entertainment rate so it pays to look at all possible codes.

Actually it does not sound too bad for a holiday week.

I would go to www.mousesavers.com and do ALL the potential discounts first and then decide.

I would make a back up reservation soon for a holiday week. I have had problems getting cars at ALL in Orlando over holidays.

Try Priceline. We got SUV from 8/21-8/31 for $30/day ($430 and change total) from Hertz. Good luck!
