Price Adjustments??

Does Disney do price adujstment to cruises already booked. I could save $200 to $ 300.

what do u mean ? yes if this is what u mean u have found a price that is less than what u booked and it was through DCl.
Call them they will make the ajustment to your trip...

if that is not what u mean than what do u mean ???

Depends I think on what you mean. If you are a Florida resident, they will do an adjustment if there are any resident speicals for the cruise you will be on. Hope that is some help, not sure what you mean.

right after 9/11 folks were canceling reservations, and our cruise price dropped by almost $1400, and we got a check for the adjusted amount. This was on a DCL cruise. If you booked through a TA, check with your TA, as I believe the refund will go to them first, since they make the official payments.

Yes, DCL will make the price adjustment. You must contact them the same way that the reservation was made. That means, if you booked directly thru DCL, you call them. If you booked thru a TA, your TA must call them.

The reduced price must be for the same dates and same category that you booked. They will not "automatically" give you the lower price--either you or the TA must make the request. That's why it pays to have a TA who stays on top of current prices!

They will either deduct from the amount due, or, if you have made your final payment, they will cut you a check.

Back in the day when DCL had seasonal promotions like Springtime Magic rates and Fall Fantasy rates.....I saved our friends $1600. They were booked for late August and in about May or June I checked with DCL and they had just opened up the Fall Fantasy rates for the date of their cruise.

I told my friend it was worth a phone call but she was reluctant....well she called and DCL refuned $1600 back to her credit card. She was more than ecstatic about it!!!

I am sure there were many people on that cruise that did not know their price went down and paid the higher price....and as kcashner said...DCL will not automatically make the adjustment you must contact them and bring it to their attention......via the way you booked the ressie...TA or DCL directly.
