Preferred Rooms @ POFQ??

I thought I had read in a few past posts that you can get a "Preferred" room location at POFQ...is this true? I know I was asked at booking if I wanted a Water View...but, the rep never mentioned a Preferred Room.

There are no preferred buildings in the POR or the POFQ. Quite honestly the POFQ is small enough that you can not go wrong in any building. I would not even pay extra for a waterview room since you do not have a private balconey, but that is just me. I have stayed at the POFQ several time and I really love it. The themeing is great and each building is close to the main building without walking too far. I like building 5 the best, but we've stayed in #2 and #3 and they are great locations too.
As far as I know the only moderate resort that has the preferred buildings is the CBR.

We just returned from POFQ. I don't believe there are preferred rooms at POFQ. We had a great room in building 5, 3rd floor. It was quiet yet close to everything-food court, pool, and bus stop. We split our stay and stayed here only 4 nights but we wish we stayed all 8 nights. It is a really nice resort.

We are staying at POFQ and requested a waterview. I know it doesn't come with a private balcony, but I thought it would just be so peaceful to have water outside my window, if we get a river view, instead of general foot traffic. If we get a pool view, that's fine too because my oldest DS will be in the water the whole time we aren't at the parks, so I figured I will get a good view no matter what. I just can't wait to go- August can't get here soon enough-I'll take any view at this point!

We just got back from 2 weeks at POFQ, we had a wonderful corner room on the 3rd floor of building #4. We were right across from the food court and very close to the bus stop. It was fabulous!! I am still smiling from the memories.
