Preferred Parade Seating?

So I am beyond excited...we got Preferred Parade seating for our trip next week! I am slightly worried it's just for the Pixar Parade in CA, but it says at Disneyland park so I'm hopeful it means the Christmas Parade! Its in a magical extras coupon book and says "Premium Preferred Parade Viewing."

Anyway, so anyone know the scoop on this? Where is the viewing? How early do we need to show up, like if we wanted to do the 5 pm parade?

Do you have preferred parade viewing or preferred parade seating?

In the past, when people had this option they could choose either one parade at Disneyland OR one parade at California Adventure.

Unless it's changed, the preferred viewing at Disneyland is by it's a Small World (standing), and I'm not sure where it is at, at DCA since they've remodeled it.

You get it by booking through Disney Travel and staying onsite.

Well FYI I called the travel company and they said when they start roping off the parade about 20 min before the start, they set up the viewing area, and I dont need to get there sooner than that! Wow, I hope that's true!

They rope off much sooner than that in my experience. People start saving spots hours ahead, especially during busier Holliday times.
