This is what we do...we use the Walt Disney font for the labels.
I don't think this is tacky at all. Sending a postcard is just being generous...you're taking time out of your vacation to send someone a smile. So if anyone complains about a preprinted label...drop them from your mailing list.
I agree, unless what happened our recent trip happens to you!
I used to send postcards to all the family and friends, but this last trip I sent only to the great nieces and nephews (all are 5 and under and they all love to get mail.) Well, DH's great nephew got his postcard and according to his grandma (DSIL), he wouldn't let go of it! He carried it around the house and everywhere he went. When his dad came to pick him up, the boy said to him, "Dad, I got a ticket to WDW...wanna go with me?"

Luckily, his dad was thinking and replied, "Ah, buddy, I think I've gotta work that day." DSIL told him very clearly it was a POSTCARD, but he insisted it was a ticket. So, DH felt really guilty...when he came home he told me the story with this look like, "darn it! now we've gotta take him."

I just reminded him that IF we take one then we have to take each of them and we've got 6 great nieces and nephews and one more due in October. Not to mention all of their mommys and daddys, grandmas and grandpas, and great granparents who would like to go, too.

So, no, we cannot take him even if he thinks he's got a ticket. And I'm not even sending the little guy another postcard, just to be on the safe side.
