Prayers for my Mother Outlaw Please!

I usually don't post too much on this particular part of the board, but I wanted to ask for all you folks to think about sending a prayer in tonight for my mother outlaw, Pati. She had quadruple bypass surgery about 2 years ago. They wanted to do more, but couldn't. She hasn't done too well since then either. She is stubborn, but Gabby loves her more than just about anyone else on the planet.

Pati was taken to the hospital tonight with chest pain. Gabby was just down there for 5 days visiting. Pati was very swollen from the waist down. Her ankles were larger than her calfs. She was supposed to go see the cardiologist tomorrow about the edema. Pati hates going to the doctor, so for her to feel like she needs to go to the hospital is scary.

Please pray for Pati and for Gabby. It's going to be a long night folks. But, I believe in the power of prayer. Thank you all. Maggie

Thanks y'all. Pati was admitted last night. They didn't feel that it was a heart attack, but the edema was causing a lot of stress on her heart. They had her on lots of Lasix to help her body get rid of all the extra fluid. I have no idea how long she will be in the hospital or what the plan is from here. We are waiting for word from the doctors today.

Gabby is a bit of a basket case. She didn't sleep well because she is so worried. But, I keep reminding her that I'm still here for her.

Anyway, thanks for the prayers. Keep them coming. This situation is still not resolved yet. Maggie
