The HRH was beautiful, although a little tired looking, I thought, in the hallways. My son Dan, would have loved all the guitar stuff throughout the hotel. We had great fun at the pool, the morning of our departure...you going to post the pic of your very first water slide, Susan?

One thing that we didn't like though, was being woken up in the middle of the night with an announcement in our room, saying over and over and over and over........again that an alarm had gone off and that they were investigating it. Fortunately, it turned out to be a false alarm. I believe some kids had pulled an alarm somewhere in the hotel.

BTW, we did not go on Journey to Atlantis at SW, as we didn't want to get soaked (knew this from past experience) but Lisa and I did go on Kraken and had a ball!

Lively place, the POP Century! And much busier than I remember from DH's and my March Break stay there. But they did an excellent job of moving a mountain of people back from the parks at the end of each day. The buses just kept coming!

Hmmm, no, I don't know who those two weirdos were either!

Thanks Deb. We LOVED the French Quarter and are planning to stay there again before our cruise in March. I can't think of one negative thing to say about that resort.

Actually, I didn't find the heat as bad as in I did during past July trips. We had several overcast days so I thinked that helped to make it feel "cooler". Funny, after our trip in July 2002, I said "never again in the heat of the summer" yet this year it was the crowds that was hard to take...I've never seen it so crowded. But I'd still rather be in a crowded WDW than at home.

Thanks for the cabana picture- we have one reserved for our October trip and I was curious what they looked like.

I also still need a hotel for the first 2 nights of our trip and hearing you guys talk about POP I think I will book it.

These are really good and clear pictures. Really enjoying looking at them.

LOL, I think I'm going back to a "carry-on" next time. Took far too much stuff. Susan and Lisa took a huge duffle bag of shoes, alone! And Susan still couldn't find a comfortable pair for her poor blistered feet!

We didn't have it so easy moving all our stuff into POFQ. We didn't have a luggage cart and it took us a few trips that time

These luggage carts at POP were great for taking all our stuff up in one trip! You have to sign it out and return it and if you decide to take it home you will find a $250.00 charge on your bill!

My brother is a professional photographer (lives in Toronto) so the next time we get together, I'm going to get him to teach me how to take better pictures of the Spectro Parade with my camera.
