Leftover QS/Snack credits for use at second split stay resort without DDP

Hello all

Currently here and have 6 days left at our current resort and then are spending a further 4 days here but without the dining plan.

For various reasons, we will probably have a bunch of snack and quick service credits left over...question is, what would be the best use of QS/snack credits to stock up on some food to sustain us to avoid having to pay out of pocket if possible?

I'm thinking cinnamon rolls/croissants and cold sandwiches that will last a couple of days in the fridge but any other suggestions and locations welcome (we are beach club based, but are likely to still visit most places)

Check in the shop to see if any prepackaged foods qualify as snack credits. Resorts with DVC attached tend to have a wider variety of foods available. Make sure you check the coolers as well. Don’t be shy about asking the CMs in the shop either. Many people scramble at the last minute to use up credits, so it’s a question they are accustomed to and they will have the knowledge of what can be grouped together under your QS credits too.

Also, remember that you can use credits normally through midnight on your check out day, so that would be the day to stock up on the grab and go items for actual QS meals to ensure they are as fresh as possible. Consider checking the BW and YC for items as well. Did you bring any ziploc bags with you for food storage? I remember using up a gift card by buying a whole pizza and then taking a couple of slices at a time to the food court to heat them up. If you have access to a microwave then you can order hot meals to go and warm them later (can’t remember off the top of my head if there is a microwave in the shop at BC or not).
