the little mouse shoes are so adorable! what made you decide on those?

These are my daughter's wedding shoes. She had another pair picked out, but they ended up being too tight and uncomfortable. I bought these shoes as the mother of the bride, and my daughter liked them so much that she bought a pair for herself! They are from Nordstrom.

These are the original shoes that I bought:

They are so "me" and were really comfortable, although quite expensive. We ended up changing our theme and colour scheme, so I needed to find new shoes (although I think I am still going to wear these ones for dinner).

I decided to go with flats for the actual ceremony, even though I really didn't want to. The reason for my change was to ensure I am comfortable, and I concerned about my height in the pictures. I am only barely 3 inches shorter than DF, so these would put me at the same height as him (which I didn't want) and I am much taller than all my bm's, so with them in heels, and me in flats, I figured we would look better in pics.

I ended up finding a pair that was created for the "sex and the city 2" movie. Here are my "Carrie" shoes:

I've always had a thing for rodents. We never had a dog or cat; but we had more hamsters than I can remember. This style of shoe had actually been out for a while, but I could never justify the cost. Then when I saw these white ones, I thought they would be perfect for the wedding because they are flats, and no one is going to see the shoes anyway and I would re-wear them again. Plus it fit with Disney because everyone just assumed they were for Mickey.

OMG I'm so jealous of all your shoes!! I love heels!! Unfortunately I'm just too tall!! My new dress just touches the ground so these are the shoes I just bought.

Once I get them I'm going to see if I want to remove the rosettes and replace it with something more blingy or just leave them...you won't see them anyway!

They're very pretty, but they're slippers, right? Aren't you worried about the weak sole wearing away when you walk around on pavement and outside in them? Not trying to offend, just really curious.

Nope! They have suede bottoms so I'm not worried about wearing them for one day.

I loved my shoes! They are the Manolo's from the SATC movie. I loved the pop of color. I wore them ALL day and they were pretty comfortable up until the end.

Love it, have seen the movie like literally over 20 times. (well and all of the seasons too) But always wondered in the movie, with a pair of shoes that gorgeous, how could you "leave" them there completely unworn... Oh no, if I had bought those I would be wearing them all the time!! Only Carrie would leave $525 shoes in her new apartment!

Have I ever told you how much I love your shoes Kelly? And your bag? Gorgeous! The one thing I wish I had was a higher heel! Mine was only about 3 inches and I usually rock about a 4inch heel and yours look much closer to that. They are so pretty. And if you ever get really glammed up again (for something super formal) I would totally use that bag again.

I LOVED my shoes!! My dh is much shorte than me too, but i told him I was wearing pink heels for the Epcot shoot, and would wear shorter ones for the ceremony. He actually liked the pink ones better!!

Thanks Dawn!! My shoes were 4 in.- I had to have atleast 4 in. heels. And the bag-ah . I so lucked out with that one because, like the heels, I searched for months to find what I liked that didn't cost a small fortune. And yeah, I am soo looking forward to using the purse again. You totally can borrow it if you have any fun/formal events!

I thought my shoes were going to be comfortable enough...but they weren't! Thanks goodness I had packed my Purple Chuck Taylor's "just in case" as an afterthought! I was going to bring my Purple Doc Martens, but figured they'd be too hot and heavy to wear...
