Yum...... have not tried Wolfang Puck... I think I might have too! What is that creation with the onion rings --- i'm guessing some kind of RB sandwich with mashed potatoes?
Looked good but tasted nasty! It was prime rib with somekind of mashed potatoes and sourdough bread I think. I didn't read the fine print on the menu and it had horseradish sauce in it. One bite and I was like, "nuh uh!". My sister and I ended up trading and I ended up with the pizza. We now refer to it as "Wolfgang Puke's" because we were both nauseous afterwards.

Does anyone get strange looks when you photograph your food? I was taking a picture of the MM waffles at Cape May yesterday, and the man sitting behind us look at me like I was crazy!
We kept having the wait staff ask us if we needed to have our picture taken! I had to keep saying, "nope, just gettin' the food!". I tried not to look around to see if anybody was noticing me.

Overall, I kept forgetting to take the pictures until I had sometimes half eaten it (except for the Tony's and that was all I did eat of it). I almost could kick myself everytime I see teeth marks in my pics!

Keebles, your pictures from the Brown Derby looked great! How did you enjoy your meals at both BD and Rainforest Cafe

This was Brown Derby's second and last chance with us and they definitely came through this time!! The server was fabulous and we really enjoyed the food.

I can't imagine a trip to Disney without Rainforest and although I really like the food, I don't think it's too much different from either an Applebee's or Ruby Tuesdays...but the ambiance definitely makes up for it!! I know I usually spend a couple of hundred in the gift shop too!!

Coral Reef Dinner:

We are thinking about Coral Reef on our next trip and I was wondering how the shrimp dish with the brussel sprouts was? Was it plenty to eat...it doesn't look that big but I guess with appetizer and dessert it would be plenty! We will be doing the dining plan so that sounds like a good deal.

Can I ask what that wonderful "BLUE" drink was in the martini glass was? :rotfl2: just got off from work "IAB" - Police Dept. - I'm drooling
over that drink, oh my, my, my it looks sooooooooooooo good !! ! ! !

:hourglass It's a pitiful shame, our trip is not until NOVEMBER, did I say NOVEMBER, I meant NOVEMBER................. :thumbsup2

Oh well, ya'lls pictures are keeping me a float with my need of Disney fixes !

THANK YOU ! ! ! keep em' coming, when I get there I'll take my share of pictures & bring em' back & share them. :woohoo:

I'm still in Disney and having a wonderful time (I'm sad we're leaving tomorrow morning though). I thought I'd share some pictures of the delicious pastries we had from the Boulangerie Patisserie in France. :cloud9: Then there's a picture of a pig that Miyuki the Japanese candy artist made me today.

Nid d'Abeilles. This is my absolute favorite pastry. :) It's filled with a vanilla cream that has rum in it. Although, I can't taste the rum at all.

Apple Tart. There weren't any apple turnovers that day so my mom decided on the apple tart. I tried some of it and it was very good. Underneath the apples is the filling that's in the apple turnover.

Apple Turnover. The filling is somewhat like applesauce but thicker much better. It's very good and my mom gets it everytime.

An almost completely eaten Napoleon. At this point, it doesn't even resemble a Napoleon. :rotfl:I'm eating the rest of it right now and yum is it good. It's hard to describe so just try it! :thumbsup2

Lemon Tart. The filling is very good, bitter and sweet. The top is like a meringue but even better. As you can tell, I had to taste some of my mom's lemon tart before I took the picture.

My favorite animal, a pig!

It was called the Deep Blue Martini...it had the glowing ice cube (I came home with four in case you were wondering how good I thought it was!). It has Alize Bleu, Blue Curacao and Sweet-and-Sour and it was 9.75. Hope that helps!

Considering the usually bad it reviews it gets, I really wasn't expecting too much from Coral Reef but the food was absolutely wonderful and we had a great server! The pasta dish was Grilled Shrimp served over a linguine tossed with lobster sauce and brussel sprouts ($27.50) (yes, I'm reading that directly from the menu-best souvenir ever and they are free!). We got the lobster tail as a side and split it. Neither one of us managed to finish the pasta (which is really saying alot because I rarely ever leave food behind!) but not because it wasn't good, just between four drinks, an appetizer, bread, pasta and lobster tail, I ran out of momentum. My sister got the blue crab cake for an appetizer and it did smell like old dead fish, but she said it tasted good (although I'm not sure how she could manage around the smell!).

OK, it took me quite some days to go through all 175 pages, and now it will take me quite some days to work off those extra pounds I gained while eating all that food with my eyes!

I told my mom we had to go to WDW big time, but my next Disney-vacation is September, and it'll be back to CA. OK, meanwhile, I might go once again a weekend at DLP, and the food there is just as good!
What struck me though, is that many of the dishes at the TS restaurants... well, the presentation is just so weird, that's not something you would get at DLP. It seems so... just thrown on a plate. But it might be a wrong impression I got.
There was something else I wanted to add, but I just don't remember what anymore... oh well, one day I'll remember, and I'll post it!

Yummy! Thanks for all the great pics! They really helped me out in planning out ADR's!

I can't wait to be able to share my own pics in March! :)

Did Coral Reef have lobster on the menu as an entree?

Not in October...it was only a non-menu issued side. But you might check All Ears...they have more recent menus I think...

CR used to have lobster on the menu. They became a 1 TS restaurant with the dining plan in 2006 & took the lobster off the menu.

We had room service at the Swan for breakfast one morning which consisted of the "Swan-Dolphin Breakfast" for DH, and just Pancakes for me! The sweet red strawberries were served with a side of real whipped cream! Heavenly!

Oh my gosh, that looks so good! Did the strawberries come with one of the breakfasts, or did you order them seperately?
