Please forgive this O/T post. I don't know where else to ask, you all know so much about the parks.

Tomorrow is my birthday and we are going to WDW Magic Kingdom. I read a while ago about a birthday button you could get at the park. Where do you get it at? and what does it get you?

I've really enjoyed all the food pictures by the way.

Also, where is a good place but not too expensive place to eat and celebrate in the park?

Thanks.

You can get the button at guest services. I know when I went in Dec. for my birthday a lot of CM's wished me a Happy Birthday and I got sung to at Tusker House and a free dessert. Our waitress at Boma that night was a bit nasty and didn't even notice it, it was noticed by just about every other CM we saw that day.

No, it's not stuffed. It's a little less sweet, you can taste vanilla and cinnamon. It's puffed because they deep fry it, so the egg batter getts kind of puffy like a doughnut (not exactly, but it's the best I can compare it to) It's definitely yummy! :goodvibes

EEE! I can't wait to try one of the Happiest Celebration on Earth desserts!

I don't have any delicious-o food pics but after reading about the McD's Chicken Nuggets, I just wanted to add that on more than two occasions I have gotten chicken nuggets from Wendy's and the nugget, just one not a combo of three, looked exactly like a Mickey head!! I saved one of them one time to show the kids when they got home from school and we agreed to save it so I had wrapped in a napkin and then put in a zip bag, well the same thing happened, dh saw it on the counter and threw it away!! I could have had millions from Ebay!

Hi everyone... I saw a picture of a dessert someone posted... it was from the 50's Prime Time cafe... The dish, as it is described on the menu, is called the "Happiest Celebration on Earth" Cheesecake with treats and caramel sauce...

The dessert looked really good basically because the of the "treats" that smothered the cheesecake... but i can't tell what those treats are! anyone know? kinda look like snickers or something... i would have def. gotten the dessert last time i was there if i had known about it! don't kknow how that got past me...

if anyone could help me out, that would be great!

thanks!

This looks like so much fun, what tea sitting did you get. I know there are like 5 different ones to choose from..

Do you mean what time did we go? I don't remember exactly, but I want to say maybe 2:30 or so? This is the regular afternoon tea and not the Princess Aurora tea, you know.

If you were asking what tea offerings we had, my DDs got the Mrs. Potts Tea which came with 3 little sandwiches, chocolate milk (in a real china teapot!!) and choice of two pastries. My mom and I both ordered a la carte. She got the scones and cream. I got the strawberries and cream. Plus we ordered 2 swan pastries to share. I had the darjeeling tea, I believe and I think my mom got the English Breakfast. I can look in my old notes, if you want more specifics.

It was a really fun girls day and my mom loved it. Afterwards we surprised her with a horse drawn carriage ride at Port Orleans. It made for a really nice non-park day.

Or, if you are asking about the China, I believe I only saw that pattern and it is Old Country Roses.

I absolutely love this!!! I even made it a couple of times after we got home from the cruise. It ranks up there with my all time favorite disney desserts

Oooh! Want to share the recipe?

I loved Palo! We were even thinking of dining there twice on our next cruise!
