We are thinking about eating here on our next trip. The garlic shrimp appetizer looks sooooooooo good! How were the dinners here? They look awesome.

Did you like your dinners here? The portions don't look very large. Just wondering as I've heard very mixed reviews for this place. Thanks for the great pictures!

Thanks! The appetizer was possibly my favorite thing in Spoodles. If you've ever had really really awesome chicken francese, the sauce was very similar to that- lemony, tangy, with a sweet roasted garlic flavor, and definitely butter- yum!

I enjoyed everything there very much. When my boyfriend and I sat down and discussed which restaurants we wanted to return to, Spoodles and Kona were the two that we said we could not imagine skipping. They were our favorite meals.

I ordered the rigatoni, bf ordered the lemon chicken. Mine was rich, creamy, meaty and tasted of basil and sauteed portobello mushrooms.

The lemon chicken was good, the couscous was amazing! :wizard:

We ended up liking each other's entrees even more than our own, so we switched halfway through! All the entrees were very large here, though the shrimp appetizer was somewhat small. We could barely finish- and only did that because we ate very slowly over a long time.

I am hoping to ask for dinner sized portions of the shrimp with sides of the couscous for our next meal because they were truly amazingly delicous. My boyfriend wants to get (2) entrees of the rigatoni so he can take one back to the resort and warm it up in the food court later on! :rotfl:

They must have a fabulous chef. I would like for them to add more choices to their menu- though I hear they have unpublished vegetarian selections as well- I want to go back a million times, but I also like to try new things.

Those desserts were to die for! :goodvibes

Our waiter was wonderful. We ate for almost 2 hours, and drank about 8 cups of tea each, and he cheerfully provided not only free refills, but new cups, and new hot water filled teapots each time. I loved this leisurely meal. Now I am fantasizing about going back!

Thanks so much Lulu! It is wonderful to have the visuals!

I have to confess that we did not take one picture of our food during Thanksgiving week. Because of an unforseen injury, I was wearing a boot cast and most often used a wheelchair that week. Seeing as my teen DSs had to push me around, I couldn't add the picture taking scenario to the mix! They were mortified in that uniquely teen way at the perceived attention we were attracting! :goodvibes

Thanks again,

penny

Lulu - Thank you for the great pictures. I have enjoyed them so much.

I have to let you know that my youngest daughter goes by the name Lulu too. Her real name is Emily but we have called her lulu and lulubee since she was born. People actually look at us like we are a little crazy. LOL

Up until this year I think she really thought this was her name. When we went to her preschool parent teacher conferance the teacher said that she isn't writing her name yet. She then showed us a piece of paper that Emily was suppose to have written her name and she wrote LuLu. The teacher didn't know what that was suppose to mean. I started laughing and told her that she did write her name, just not her real name. It was pretty funny. :rotfl2:

Anyway, my LuLu was pretty pleased to see that someone else has her nickname.

Just had to share this.

Thanks again for the great pictures.

:sunny:

WOW lulu! Thanks for the pics its made my future ADR picks even harder but in a good way. All that food looks so good that I want to try it all
