I like that you shot the entire boma buffet line (any goofy stares?), nice! It only confirms for me the only thing appealing for dinner here is desserts.I ate breakfast here and thought nothing worth it.
Great pic's again,Thanks
I got a few goofy stares, but I kept telling people that I lost a bet at home and so I had to take pictures of all of the food for my friends back home! They would laugh and step aside to let me get some great pictures!! :)

I am an avid WDW person, living in Daytona Beach, we go quite a bit. But I feel so stupid asking this. Where is Raglen Road, and what is LTT???

We leave today for our 22 year anniversary "Disneymoon". We'll be there for a week. Hopefully posting food pics while there. I have a new camera, so wish me luck.

Blessings,
Winnie
See you in the parks, ol bear!!

If you see a brunette in a peasant-style skirt, snapping pictures of all the food she can find, stop and say hi!!! :goodvibes

Hi all! I finially got around to uploading my photos from DH's and my private dining fireworks dinner at the Grand Floridian. DH ordered our wedding menu in advance and we were served by our own private butler. Definitely a night to remember!

Salad - before adding dressing - vinaigrette and ranch:

saladII.jpg

Dinner - beef tenderloin with bearnaise, rosemary roasted potatoes and broccoli. (Best steak of the trip, and we ate at Le Cellier, Spoodles and Yachtsman on this trip):

Dessert - mini wedding cake cheesecake with white chocolate castle:

I highly recommend this for anniversaries, honeymoons, birthdays or even just because!!!

Lawyergirl - thank you, thank you, thank you for the Boma pics!!! I can "visit" my favorite buffet any time now... :teeth:

OMG DROOL!!! That looks soooo yummy! What a great idea!

Hi everyone! We've changed hotels and we're at BWI right now (in a garden suite - Hee!! :cool1: ), so I have some time to post more pictures... (FYI - they have wireless here!)

So here are pics from last night's dinner at LTT (We liked it - good food, and lots of it, but it won't be on a "must do" list for us...)

Our drinks: diet coke and chocolate milk

Warm rolls and butter (not honey butter - wah! :sad2: )
DSCN2522.jpg

Salad (which we had already massacred! The dressing was okay, but we've had better at other family style meals):

Meal (Could have made a meal out of the green beans - they were that good!)
DSCN2531.jpg

DH's plate (he loaded it up "for the picture", so he says... :rotfl: )
DSCN2533.jpg

And dessert (meh):

Coming up next, Chef Mickey's breakfast!

Here is Chef Mickey's breakkie buffet! (Note: I missed the pod in the middle - the one with the blintzes... They looked good, but I was too stuffed to try them!! :guilty: )

(Again, like LTT - this was good, but nothing special. The character interaction was good for people with kids - they kind of walked right past us... Understandable, but we still wanted a picture! And we had ears on and everything!!! :( )

That's it until Le Cellier tonight, folks!! :)

I ate at Chef Mickey's last December and I was alone and All the characters came by me. The CM took my picture every time one came over and so did the family that was seated at the table next to me. When I was leaving got the biggest thrill of all a Picture with Santa Goofy I was on 7th heaven.

lawyer girl - you give this thread new meaning, I've been working in a baseball concession stand since last Thursday, and literally I can't wait to get home and see my food porn!! Your pics are my food for the day. You rock!!!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks again for all of your kind words, everyone!!! :goodvibes

Here are our pics from Le Cellier last night (Oh. My. God. Is all I have to say about that!!! *drool*)

We both had the Cheddar Cheese soup - I loved it with the pretzel bread, but DH found that the combination of the two together was a bit too salty. Seeing as I was a hamster (with a salt lick) in my past life, I thought it was great!! :rotfl:

DSCN2585.jpg

Here is my entrée - Mushroom filet mignon. I'm not normally into risotto, but this was amazing (and you could practically cut the meat with a fork)!!

DSCN2587.jpg

Here is DH's meal - he got the pork tenderloin. He says that he originally got it because it came with sweet potatoes, but that the pork was soooo good that he forgot about the potatoes in the end!!

DSCN2588.jpg

And here is our dessert sampler (we couldn't decide what to get). We both gave very different scores for the desserts, but overall, our favourite was the raspberry sorbet (although I loved the crème brulée!)

Tonight's meal: Marrakesh! (Morocco)

Quick poll - do people want pics of the BWI concierge offerings? They aren't nearly as cool as those at the Poly/GF but may be of interest to some of you...

If it's food, post it! :goodvibes

You know we can't get enough food porn! :thumbsup2

Thanks for all the pics... of course I must be a glutton for punishment as I sit here at work, starving, and looking at these images. :confused3

 Yipee!!! Can't wait. I'll be there for the first time exactly 4 weeks from today!

Thanks for all the great photos!

Lawyergirl did you find Liberty Tree worth it? We were going to go for dinner our second night there, but when I saw your pics while the food looked ok it did not look worth what you paid for it. We are going for our honeymoon so I would like everything to be nice, and I love the thought of doing char's since it's our first time and I wont have to chase them down around the park, but the meal in itself did not look to be all that. I was going to change my plans to Tony's, or raglan road for that night if Liberty Tree was not all it is cracked up to be. We are doing 1900 park fare for breakfast, CP for breakfast, WCC for breakfast, Boma breakfast and dinner seperate nights, and was seriously thinking about chef mickeys for breakfast. I had considered storybook, but heard iffy reviews on the food. We were also going to try marrakesh so would love to hear your thoughts on that. We chose to do chef's over Le-cellier unless that is a mistake :) seeing how everyone seems to be raving about Le-cellier. I am just trying to make everything perfect down to the last detail.

OMG! All of the food on this page looks soooooo yummmyyy!

I'm quoting the entirety of your post, Lostgirlz, so that I can respond to it as efficiently as possible!

1) LTT's food was good and the character interaction was good too. But that's it - good, not magical or even outstanding. I think it was a lot of fun, but it is not on our "must repeat" llist, like Boma (both meals), CP for breakkie, Raglan Road and Le Cellier!

2) I would do Le Cellier before Chefs. We ate at LC last night and we are still raving about the food. And I had eaten once before at LC and had been underwhelmed, so there you go! :) (But, I get French food all the time at home - more so than the so-called "Canadian" food they have at LC! :lmao: )

3) Bear in mind that your experiences with character meals may be different because you will be on your honeymoon and will be wearing the honeymooner pins/ears - that *may* get more attention than a boring ol' couple like DH and I... ;)

Finally - don't stress out trying to make everything perfect. I tried to do that before, and I found that perfection only came about when I wasn't trying to plan for it! Just make a plan, try not to stress out over it (you really can't go wrong with Disney Dining, except in very specific circumstances) and enjoy your magical honeymoon! :wave2:
