If it's food, post it! :goodvibes

You know we can't get enough food porn! :thumbsup2

Thanks for all the pics... of course I must be a glutton for punishment as I sit here at work, starving, and looking at these images. :confused3

Heh - I'm trying desperately not to think about work. My three week vacation will be up at the end of this week, and I already know about the horrors that await me. :sad2:

Plus, I can't see any of my food porn while I'm there - photobucket is blocked!!! :furious:

For all of you who needed a mid-afternoon snack (or, as DH and I called it, we're-not-hungry-enough-for-a-full-lunch meal), here are the nachos we devoured a few hours ago at the ESPN Club. They were really good....

Okay, now you are just being cruel !!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, I am loving these pics! Can't wait to see the Marrakesh pics! That is one of my favorites! And the waiters are quite an eyefull too!

You are the best lawyergirl

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mushroom filet at LC......I have been dreaming about it for months & can't wait to have it again in December. Woo hoo!!!!

These are very good! If you are on the dining plan these are considered an appetizer :thumbsup2

everytime I see pics of Le Cellier, I say to myself "I am definitly doing that next time" yet everytime I go to reserve an ADR, I completely forget about it. Of course, my upcoming trip I am not going here and now looking at these pictures, I am so mad!!!!

This is making me VERY excited for our trip- less than a month to go! :cool1:

Trying to figure out how to post pictures so I can post our October food pics. I'm fairly new to all this hi tech stuff. I tried to post a pic and DIS said I have to have so many posts before I can add a URL? Anyone know how many? :sad2:

lawyergirl, your photos of Raglan Road convinced me to change around some of my beloved ADR's to fit a Raglan Road dinner in!!!

I've been so protective of my ADR's before now, and didn't want to touch any of them - but I saw your photos, and just had to!

I'm so excited that I could still do that with only a month and a half to go!

Dalkey Duo, Keen eye for the shepherd's pie, and Raspberry riot, here I come! I can't WAIT!!

Thankyou, lawyergirl!!

:wave2: Why Hellllooooooooooooooo again everyone!!

Here is the latest batch in the culinary tour that is better known as "Lawyergirl's quest to be unable to fit into her plane seat on the way home!!" :lmao:

Dinner last night: Restaurant Marrakesh (Soooo good!)

Bread with the meal:
DSCN2612.jpg

DH's appetizer (he had the Marrakesh Feast): beef brewat roll and harira soup (he forgot to offer me a bite of the roll - he loved it that much!)
DSCN2613.jpg

My appetizer: Chicken Bastilla (omg so good! But I remembered to share! ;) )
DSCN2614.jpg

His Meal: Lemon chicken, Vegetable Couscous and Shish Kebab
DSCN2616.jpg

My meal: Chicken and Vegetable Couscous (Note: I am super picky about my couscous because I make it all the time at home. I could have kissed the chef - this is what I keep trying to get it to taste like!!! However, it was pretty slim on the veggies IMHO...)
DSCN2615.jpg

And we were too stuffed for dessert!! :guilty:

Here are two shots of the BWI Concierge breakfast offerings (simple, but good and fresh):

And finally, we split a plato combinacion about 30 minutes ago (hee!! :Pinkbounc ). It includes a beef burrito, a quesadilla, chicken taco and refried beans and salsa. Surprisingly tasty!

Tonight - Alfredo's! We've never eaten there so it should be interesting...

*GASP*
I can't believe you didn't mention the churro... :sad2:
I guess you figured the picture spoke for itself... :thumbsup2

Hope you enjoy Alfredo's! Looking forward to more pics!

Oh, and don't worry about not fitting into your plane seat... I'll jog an extra 5 minutes for ya!

Now that I know how to do this, I'm going to be taking pictures of my food all the time. For now though, these are the only ones I have.

Beachs N' Cream- DH had the Milky Way Sundae

I had the Fudge Mud Slide Sundae

These wer taken last year, and the Milky Way was much better.

Thank you for posting those great looking desserts from Beaches and Cream....they look fantastic!!!! :lovestruc Hope you're going back soon to take more pictures so you can share them here on this thread!!!!! :thumbsup2

Hello again!

DH and I went to Alfredo's last night. While it was good (and the waiters were yummy too! ;) ) we probably won't put it on our "must repeat" list... If only because there are some pretty extraordinary Italian places around our house which compete quite favourably with our experience last night.

My appetizer: buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes, with olive oil and basil (very nice and light)

DSCN2631.jpg

DH's appetizer: the world famous fettucini alfredo - it was REALLY good and very different compared to what we would normally label as a white sauce (v. heavy on the parmesan - good for me, less good for DH)
DSCN2632.jpg

My entrée: The pasta trio (I figured it was the best way to try everything) - the simple tomato sauce on the penne was spot-on. Tasted a lot like my ex stepmother's sauce (the only thing I miss about her! :rotfl: )
DSCN2634.jpg

DH's entrée: the lasagna. Again, very good, but ridiculously heavy and filling!
DSCN2633.jpg

As always, we were too stuffed for dessert (although the platter did look very good!)

Yesterday night - snack of rice cream and cinnamon roll from Norway!!
DSCN2645.jpg

This afternoon, we discovered the Rose & Crown. I think DH has died and gone to heaven!! They had a scotch flight, shown here (he did the Johnny Walker flight):
DSCN2654.jpg

Heavenly rolls:

And we split an entrée of fish and chips (Shown split here):

Needless to say, DH wants to try the single malt flight, so we'll be heading here tomorrow!! :thumbsup2

Tonight? JIKO!!! :Pinkbounc

The churro wasn't that great, so I did forget to mention it!!! Good eye (for the food!!) ;)

I'm hoping that the crazy amount of walking we're doing will help, but I will admit that my skirts are feeling a liiiitle bit more snug than they did a little bit over a week ago!! :guilty:

Trust me, since I have figured this out, I'm sure I will drive DH crazy taking pictures of everything. Next trip planned is Feb 07 and we have planning where to eat for weeks now.
