Post pics of your bag you carry into park

I SWARE by my Vera Bradley Hipster. It fit my water bottle, cash, snacks etc. and it was so lightwieght. The adjustable strap allowed me to sling it across my chest and it was PERFECT~

I am a sworn Vera addict now ever since my first hipster. I see her patterns in my sleep... They are on sale now for only $20. The link says $54 but just click on the patterns and the correct price will show...

Being from New England, a majority of my bags are from LL Bean. We used this last time we went. http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/st...entCategory=504159&feat=504159-tn&cat4=504158
(which I am now realizing is the AmeriBag with th LLBean logo on it). Honestly I just love this bag. I can fit Water bottles, cell phone, my DSLR, wallet, and other necessities.
This time we will also bring this for DH. http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/st...3&cat4=5729&shop_method=pp&feat=305-sub1&np=Y
DS uses it for his school bag, but it is going with us for our big trip. It has tons of pockets, and DH doesn't feel like a schmuck carrying it.

Thanks to everyone who has posted on this thread! :goodvibes

I have gone to my closet and pulled down both of my old Healthy Back Bags (Black leather and Tan leather), dusted them off and cleaned them out. I'll also take my fabric Coach sling. The good black leather Coach Sling (Somewhere around $500 when it was at the Coach store. I got it for significantly less.;) ) will stay at HOME. I have an absolutely ancient Travelon wannabe that I used to use exclusively for yard saling. I may pull that out of storage as well. . .

Poor DH. He keeps reminding me "Aren't you glad we're not flying? Think of all the extra stuff you get to bring!" Well. I have admit, he may be right, :rolleyes1 especially now that I've found Cuban, Vietnamese and Ethopian restaurants off property. . .

I used a military issued Camel pack without the water container installed.

It carried a camcorder, my dslr, additional lenses, water bottles in the water compartment so I didn't have to worry about condensation hurting the other stuff, and plenty of pockets for additional accessories and since it was a thin camel pack it fit within the back of under compartment of a double stroller. :)

We were in WDW a few weeks ago - I used the ebags Piazza Day Bag and loved it. I fit so much in there and it wasn't big and bulky. The MP3 player pocket with earphones hole and water bottle pocket sealed my decision for me when I was looking at bags and I used both - it was great! I actually did carry my MP3 player into MK on the night of MVMCP because I knew the kids would end up asleep in their strollers and I sat outside the shows with them, listening to Sunday Night Football, while MIL, SIL, and DH were inside.
I love that it comes in colors other than the usual black and brown. As soon as I got back I ordered myself another one (in the purple, I have the orange) and got one for all the women who travel at least some on my Christmas list - my mom, my MIL, my SIL, and my BFF.

Thanks Emme! I just ordered one....it came to $27.63 with tax and shipping. Not bad! I got the blue one....it's really cool looking.

I swear....I need to stay away from these threads. I got a baggallini a few weeks ago off of ebay ($21.50 w/ shipping) in a hot pink. I just want to have another option...possibly to use on my plane ride.

Hellow "I am a guy that likes to carry a bag In the park":rotfl2:,It sounds odd but the abilty to have every thing at my finger tips for me and my DS(he will not,at least he will not admit to any:rotfl2: one). We acutaly will carry a back pack to the park and lock that one up In the lockers, and then carry one(small onne),I mean I will carry one around for Imediate essentails. My Question Is I want a shoulder bag,I had one last year but It was I think to small, but I like It because It held all of our stuff.Any Ideas out there? for men?,thanks:cool1:

seadd67- I looked for a few options for you- check them out and see what you think... I'd think you can get any of these and consider them "manly" enough!:thumbsup2 I'd watch the weight and dimensions- I searched hard for a lightweight bag because I want it still to be light when I added my items.:) I got the piazza day bag- for a lot less money than it's currently posted for.
I'd suggest you sign up for special offers on ebags- they sometimes send you coupon codes you can use. Good luck- do let us know what you get!

As long as you don't have a lot of other things in your bag a water bottle will fit. I don't think you'll be able to zipper the bag over the bottle, it's too tall.

Does anyone have this bag? Will a bottle of water fit in it? I'm looking for something that a 15yo ds will be willing to carry for all his stuff.

No opinion on the water bottle, since I own the bigger version of this (Donner). But...does your DS want to carry a bag like this? I only ask because of the "girlyness" factor, lol. ;) I know my DS would refuse to use it. Most boys that age would probably prefer a backpack.

If he only needs to carry a water bottle, how about just getting him a Disney bottle strap?

I bought my Baggalini on ebay yesterday!!

Very excited! I will let you know when I get it and how it carries.

Just started plannng trip for 6 in Mar.

I wondered how many people carry "fanny packs" or waist packs. I truly know they are not attractive, but they are so convenient. I dont like carrying a purse on a daily basis much less at WDW. It seems like most of these bags have the same drawbacks as carrying a purse.

Is there a nerd smilie icon to post with this??

Personally, I find that fanny packs are *REALLY* hard on my lower back, so I stopped carrying one. I found myself slinging it over my shoulder more than wearing it around my waist, and that was uncomfortable *and* unsafe. So I've gone to bags slinged across my chest. Much better.

First off, what are the Disney bottle straps?

I was thinking of getting one of the VB hipsters. How do they fit "plus" sized gals (sz 18)? Also, what are the difference with the 2 hipsters on the site? Is one just a newer model?

The Disney bottle straps are available in all the parks at the drinks carts (maybe other places, too). The end of it loops around the neck of a water bottle. The strap itself is a long shoulder-length. They are nylon, and decorated with various designs based on the park. REALLY handy for schlepping around water bottles, refillable cups, soda, etc.

fanny pack lover here! (but only in disney, and only my "Disney" logo fanny pack!) - not a fan of backpacks, don't want to have a shoulder-type bag on vacation, don't like those sling bags either - i carry only essentials, and they barely fill up the fanny pack! :goodvibes

I'm not really sure how to post pics on here - but I'll try! I just bought cheap drawstring backpacks and added buttons to make Mickeys! I think they turned out super cute!
