Post Photos of Hotels Here...DLH, HoJo, BWPPI, DI&S, CCI...etc.

NObody seems to have any pictures of the Park Vue Inn's actual rooms...does anyone have any? We're staying in the king-sized rooms, but anything would be appreciated.

I want to bump this up because these pics are so helpful. Please keep them coming. Does anyone have more PPH pics like the pool area or other pics of the area around it?:thumbsup2 Thank you!

Here are some pics of the Kids' Suite at Portofino Inn & Suites. Full Review here.

Here are some photos of premium room 1713 at HOJO. It was our first time staying at HOJO I don't know if I would pay the extra for a park view room again as when we first checked in we were given a room on the third floor. We had a view of a tree and could barely see the monorail track. After calling down to the desk, they moved us up after I said I was willing to wait for a better view. As for the skylights, they were nice as they provided a lot of light during the day. However, I didn't realize that the skylights would be on both sides, so I woke up at 6:30 to 7:00 evey morning when the sun came in through the skylight near the entrance to the room!
I would highly recommend HOJO and would stay there again in a heartbeat. The walk was easy and the beds were comfy! There was a little freeway noise that was taken care of by the fan in the room. However, next time I would opt for a deluxe queen room overlooking the pool. If I didn't mind sharing a double bed with DH, I would even go for a first floor pavillion room! We also loved being able to hear the monorail and train from our room!

Here are pictures of the rooms at the Tropicana Inn (4/29/2010)

*Please note that the day we checked out, 5/3/2010, they were replacing the furniture in all of the rooms. I do not have pictures of the new furniture. We were told the bedding had already been replaced before our visit, so what you see in these pictures should be the new bedding. Carpets were not being replaced (we asked)

Here is the hall outside our room (#259...we were in a King room, one of the rooms that juts out over the parking lot).

Bed (duh :D)--very comfy! We also felt there was a lot of space in this room!

Fridge/Microwave, desk, and TV. **Please note these old TVs are being replaced with Flat Screens with the furniture..they just had not gotten the TVs in yet, as of 5/3/2010.

"Closet" area-- the rack on the top worked out well for drying out clothes soaked on GRR and Splash!

This is the Shower...our room was only a shower stall, as seen. Apparently there are some rooms here that do have a tub, though. You may want to specifically ask for that upon reserving, if it's necessary that you have a tub.

These were taken from our balcony the morning we checked out. As you can see they were taking out all of the old furniture (old being what we had in our rooms) to replace it. They should be done with that by now.

you're welcome! We enjoyed it there, and we'd definitely stay there again!

The convenience store was wicked expensive though. Like $9 for 24 caplets of Ibproufen--ugh.

We did have a car, but we never made it to Target and/or grocery store like we'd planned (we wanted to get those little individual boxes of cereal)--next trip, we'll make that a priority so we don't get gouged at the convenience store :p

The new furniture makes me want to stay there! ;) If you don't mind me asking, were the rooms above the parking lot/looking out at the parks expensive? I've never stayed in one, but have always wanted to!

We were on the parking lot side, not hte parks side..I don't know if they charge extra for the "view" on the park side...but I don't think they do. Our room was a standard king room, and is the same price as the standard double queen.

We used their "web special" rate (if you check the availability on their site it will tell you what that rate is). That's the rate we used (though it's slightly higher now than it was for our stay..it may vary based on DL's "high"/"low" season).

Inspired by the WDW side of the DIS and I figured it would be nice to see pictures so people can get a taste of the Disneyland Resort area and neighboring hotels. Sorry if there is something already out there.

I'll start with the Grand Californian Lobby.

Great idea! I thought it could be user-friendly by adding click-able links for the various places so when this thread grows, it will be easy to browse through and find specific places.

KCmike, since this thread is your idea, if you would rather I don't create/upkeep this list, just say the word and it's gone. :goodvibes
