Possible discount on Tixs via Convention Rate

I am going to sign up for the scavenger hunt since it will be going on while we are there in May. I noticed a link to buy park tix at a convention rate. I haven't actually bought them yet but it appears to me any one could say they are there for a convention and buy tixs through that site. Does anyone have any experience with this, do they ask for some kind of proof?

In order to purchase the convention tickets you must use the code word provided to you at the time you pay to attend the convention.
