Construction is all done! My wife & I were there in March & everything is down. There were a few small items (minor things) they were working on but the scaffolding was down & all of the paths & areas were fully open. It looks fantastic! They did an awesome job!
We used it in November/December 2023. We got the daily free breakfast and used the credit for snacks at the pool. Got the late checkout. Welcome gift in room.
Just back from a great stay. We stayed CL and our room was SO far from the lounge. We had a little patio outside and overlooked the villa pool. Here are some cl menus I took a picture of if anyone is interested.
We just got back from a CL stay. SO far from the lounge, and I get the sneaking suspicion that we weren't the furthest. Disappointed in breakfast. No breakfast meats (i.e., bacon, sausage). No donuts. No waffles. No pancakes. I was expecting a breakfast like what we get at our Drury stays and this was definitely a cut (or more) below. Snacks, evening reception food, and dessert were solid. Evening reception drinks were subpar. Again, expected similar to Drury, and Drury was WAY better.
For the first time ever, I am disappointed over one of the hotels. I splurged on a bay view room. Looking just straight out the room, no bay view whatsoever. If I lean against the far right window I get a peek of the bay. I have attached pics. I asked at the desk if this is truly considered a “bay view” room. The guy said, “oh, you are in the PERFECT spot for the opera singers. That is perfect.” Ummmm…. No. So I tried the text line and they just replied, “it is a bay view room.” I am now so sad — I was spoiled by my amazing view at Epic. And the staff there went above and beyond. The staff here were like, “no, you’re wrong. You got what you paid for.” And I really wish now I had NOT paid for it.
