I just got back yesterday! I loved it. It was beautiful and peaceful. We had great luck with the buses, and with both rooms (we had to be moved because of a leak). I took a ton of pictures. I have to say that I absolutely loved the cheesecake in the food court with the fresh strawberry topping. Yummy! If ever I decide to go somewhere for a nice, peaceful, non park but still have access to Disney trip, POR would be a great fit!

I did an 8 day, no parks, all resorts trip at POR in 2010. Best trip ever.

Do a dinner at a resort each night and take the DTD bus. The water taxi runs every ten minutes after 4 pm, so you never wait long.

Do it!,,,,,

Wondering if anybody can help me with this question. If I rent a Sea Raycer at POR, can I take it to DTD for lunch and either leave it there, or rent another one to take back to POR?

You need to return to the place you rented from, so you can't really use them for one-way trips. It'd be nice though, I agree.

Do all the Royal Rooms have two queen beds? or are some Kings?

We are a family of 5, so we will be staying in AB but we booked a Royal Room for MIL for two nights in the middle of our trip. Of course part of the point of the extra expense was because she wants the kids to stay there with her at least one night, but that really won't work if she winds up in a room with only one bed.

Thank you!

I thought I had read that before, but it was one of those things where I was in bed awake last night and started worrying. During a previous trip when we had MIL join us at another resort she wound up with a handicap accessible room with a king bed, but it wasn't an issue because it connected with our room.

Hopefully, now my mind will be at ease.
Less than two weeks until we leave. pixiedust:

Yeah me too sometimes, no worries. Wow you got lucky on that trip. Someone sprinkled a lot of pixie dust for your family!

When I look at the pictures of the refurbed rooms (including pictures of people actually lounging on the beds), I SWEAR they don't look like Queens. They really look (to my eye) like Doubles. I honestly don't doubt people when they say that's a queen sized bed, they just look smaller than my queen at home (which is a standard, ordinary, queen).

What gives? Legit queens and my eyes and brain are being fooled? Or something else?

It also could be the camera used. Where they were standing. Certain angles can produce illusions to size. They are in fact queens, I promise.

I know the numbers is a date 10-19-1971 and LHMC I dont remember but someone on here does.

Yeah I had that part figured out and I thought I read somewhere what it means but I don't remember and a google search only turned up speculation. Now it's gonna bug me until I find out.
