How are the new beds? I read a trip report and the person did not like the new beds. Said they slide away from the wall and that every time you rolled over the bed would slam against the wall. They could hear the neighbors bed slamming against the wall also.

Has anyone else had this problem??

We were in building 2 this past May. When we came back I posted that neither my husband nor I like the new beds at POFQ. My husband can usually sleep on a bed of nails, but neither of us got much sleep in May. I like a softer bed with fluffy pillows, but the pillows at POFQ were too fat and the bed too hard. Despite being exhausted every night, neither of us could get comfortable. Every morning we woke up with a headache and backache. For us the beds weren't noisy and we didn't notice it hitting against the wall, they were just uncomfortable. However, I posted about them when we got back and other DISers that were there the same week said their beds were fine. Maybe we got a deformed one. I've never complained about the beds at any WDW resort and am usually so tired I can sleep anywhere, but I really hated our POFQ bed in May. I love the queen beds with pillow tops over at CSR and was expecting the same beds, but they weren't by a long shot. They were so uncomfortable that I called while I was down there and switched both my upcoming Sept and Nov/Dec trips over to CSR. I really love POFQ though and usually because I go to WDW several times a year, like to switch up my resorts, so am considering moving the Nov/Dec trip back to POFQ.

You are only able to stay at POFQ if you are a family of 5, where one is an infant under the age of 3.

You may be thinking of POR, which has another thread; they accommodate families of 5. You might want to hop over there and check it out.

One of us is 3 years old. Is that ok?
