Port Canaveral parking for a back to back?

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, I did do a search, but no matching results were found. My husband and I will be doing our 10th and 11th cruises in October on the dream. We usually do a one way car rental or park and cruise at a nearby hotel. This tome we will be parking at the port, so our first cruise is a 3night followed by the 4, do we need to go out and pay for the 3 night and get a new ticket on changeover day or can we just pay for 7 days at the end?
Also, if anyone has experience with back to backs, do we need to let Disney know?I am assuming no, but wanted to check. And because the second cruise will be our first as platinum, do we need to do anything about reminding them of the change in level?
Thanks for any and all help, We are So excited for our first back to back, and we usually do 7nights, so finding different things to do will be fun too!

I parked there did back to back didn't tell the car park, they know by the ticket. Part of our party used the car on turnaround day for shopping. Quick off and on.

Platinum will kick in on the last day, disembarkation day of the first cruise, now time wise the stateroom host may get a printout just before the websites updated so you may need to tell them, it happened to us.

I would assume you would just pay for the the amount of days for the first ship you were boarding. There's no way for them to know that you'll be going on a second cruise.

Parking at the port is in advance now. Just tell them how long you want to pay for parking.

Now they do, to me I paid once, something occurred on one cruise, either an employee didn't show, or a computer glitch, they just opened the barrier st preferred parking and told me to go through, I think they maned the main lot, but not the prefered parking lot. so got two for one.
