a quick suggestion on how to get to your 10 post minimum to be able to PM(private message) squirrel is just post a hello or anything everytime you on or even go to some other threads and say Hi just for fun. and as far as jazzing up your posts you can just put some info into your signature. or find some tickers a good place to find countdown tickers is at http://www.***********************/main.php

You can post anything, as long as it's within the Dis guidelines! You can post on this thread if you want. I'm always bumping it up to the front page if it gets back a few pages.

Tell us why you chose raspberries as your id!

I picked squirrel as back when my sisters and I were young, we found out our uncle gave his kid's each an animal name. So we each chose an animal name-I picked squirrel for two reasons, I love PB and the squirrels are kind of cute.

Now you probably want to know what my sisters chose!

Raspberries are one of my favourite foods and I LOVE the colour. In the summer they grow wild in my parents' fields and if we can beat the bears and other critters to them we pick them. Rarely do we manage to have any left to freeze - they just get gobbled up!

Squirrel I bet one of your sisters chose bunny. Whenever I'm involved in one of those What Animal Would You Be things I choose bunny.

My youngest daughter is in an amazing class this year with seven (yes 7!!!!) kinds of pets including 2 bunnies. The kids love them. But I bet you'll be surprised to know which is the most popular.... (your choices are turtle, gecko, rat, guinea pigs, hamster, fish).

The winner is......... Rose the Rat!!!!!!!!!!! The kids adore her! She loves to be held and cuddle and crawl around on anyone's shoulders.

Sorry, neither sister picked a bunny/rabbit.

The youngest picked mouse-because she loves cheese. The other sister picked frog-because she likes frogs and they look kind of like pickles, which she also likes.

My favorite fruit is raspberries and blackberries. Just the other day I was talking with my daycare kids and said I wonder why raspberries aren't called redberries? They have blackberries and blueberries. I think someone made a mistake when they named them.

good questions but really if you think about it there are lots of RED berries, and blueberries aren't really blue.. but it does make you think..

But blackberries and raspberries look very similar, except for the color. Then there's the Saskatoon berry-I think I had them once. Can't quite remember what they look like, but I think they look similar to raspberries/blackberries.

no santa mickey hats yet will have to pick some up while there.. it's definately a little cool here today.. but could be much worse.. it's just gotta stay nice a little longer... LOL...

Just make sure you try on the Santa Mickey Hat before you purchase it. I bought mine last year and tried it on Dec 1 and was shocked at how tight it was. I came on the Dis to find out if I just got one made a bit smaller and it appears that they just fit small.

I can't wear mine the whole day for work. I have to take it off after a couple of hours as I start getting a headache from wearing it.
