POP's Last Minute Fridge Swap-*CLOSED*

Anyone able to confirm the whereabouts of the fridge to this date?
I'm planning a trip for August and it would be great if the fridge were available for us to use.
We have not booked anything yet as we are still in the planning stages so we have not yet requested the fridge for our dates.

I don't get why the swap is not as popular as it should be.:confused3 It saves tons and tons of money! Last year we bought a styrofoam ice cooler from gardengrocer and filled it with ice from the resort. We got 2 dozens of water and Snapple and kept those icy by filling the bucket every morning after rising and every evening after coming in from the parks. Between the four us, we never had to buy a drink at the food courts or the parks. We only purchased drinks with our TS meals. If an average drink costs about $3, we saved at least $21 per day!

This time though, we want to have milk and cold cuts for breakfasts indoors and lunches for our rest days when we stay at the resort. I don't trust the temp changes when it comes to meat and milk.

Hope the fridge surfaces.;)

We had garden grocer bring, english muffins, loaf of bread, turkey, OJ, water, capri coolers, mini carrots, tub of land o'lakes.
I packed a squeeze bottle of mayo, jelly and a TOASTER, ended up breaking down there and threw it away. This one had a little side that heated to make an egg, or grill.
I know they had a toaster at the cafeteria but faster to feed the dgs and dd with the access in the room before I even dressed.

Garden grocers order was $44 delivery about $12, tax add on fees came to $62 but worth the saving on the drinks and having the day start with a meal, or pack few sandwhiches and carrots. No one wanted to stop and eat...

Because all the values are getting/or have fridges now. :goodvibes POP got theirs first. The resort fridges don't have a freezer but most people don't care about that.

I ran a POP fridge swap from August 2006 to just about a month ago. Once the fridges were installed in the rooms there really was no reason to continue.

squirrel was hoping that enough people would still want a freezer.

I would imagine that POP will be (if they haven't already) disposing of the fridges they have in storage if they aren't being claimed. Their official policy is after 2 weeks.

And yes, having a fridge in our room saved us a lot of money as well as being very convenient. I was able to use my fridge 6 times and my DSis was able to use it once. I figured my swap saved Disney goer's really over $10,000. Close to $20,000. More money to spend at Disney. I was lucky enough to have squirrel in my swap several years back before she took over this one. :)

Sorry I haven't heard from calgirl27.

I don't know if they used the fridge or not.
