There was a comic on this morning at 2:30AM that was from Chicago... he was so funny. Lots of his jokes were about your weather and how it makes you guys so tuff! He was wicked funny. He had one joke about Chicago not having any wildlife... just one pigeon and a rat fighting in a puddle for a vile of crack!

It is cold here too. We are getting that snow tonight I heard. 1-3 inches And here I thought spring had sprung!

I really like this idea too. Last May, my parents joined us for 2 of our 10 days. That was just right.

Colleen - I don't know what to tell you about your family. Maybe you should just say that you guys are planning on going and give the dates. Let everyone know they are invited and you are willing to have dinner with them individually or whatever, and you are more than happy to see them when you can, but you are not going to spend your vacation being a moderator. And you are not going to feel guilty about one person getting 5 seconds more time than the other. My friend Rachael is trying to do the same thing, and she finally just had to put her foot down!
Ok, time to take Ry to school. I will check in in a bit!

Alright i'm not in a good mood this morning. actually i'm really upset. MY dad is going in for surgery on his heart... we don't have a date yet, but his Dr. said ASAP and he is dealing with his office right now So please keep him in your prayers if you do that sort of thing thanks

This is my 10-year, but its kind of non-existant. We haven’t had a single reunion.

Thanks for the input…I’m not doing anything until I’m out of weightloss weeks. I think the program is good, just I’m bored with the foods I’m allowed to eat. I feel like I’m punishing myself for eating so much on free dining!

I do this all the time with people. I feel like its my duty to make sure all the stupid people in the world don’t have a bad time at Disney. Its my job to impart my wisdom to them. I hate when people are totally unprepared and don’t want help.


Do you know what I hate? Stupid people. So I’m sure you’ve heard the term, “that’s ghetto.” So I was talking about it, and this stupid person was telling me how it was all offensive and stuff. Offensive to whom? I’m not talking about a place or anything?!? Don’t argue with me or I’ll think youre stupid too. This was at toddler story time. People are here are so stupid. They thing the term ‘ghetto’ is racist, but say all sorts of other stuff that would get you beat up at home.

Oh, so DH applied for this job awhile ago (October) and he turned it down because the pay w/benefits would've been exactly equal. So yesterday he checks his email and the guy emailed him again and said they'd still want him and restructured things so they improved benefits and pay! Isn't that crazy! DH doesn't know what to do. He's all loyal and stuff.

He's all loyal and stuff.
I understand loyality. But I was talking to a friend yesterday and he was telling me while he does believe in loyality he also knows that if the right opportunity came around he would not think twice. He said it would bebefit his family so he feels there would be no real choice to make. I thought he had a great point, but I still see what you are saying. Good luck with the decision!

Michelle!!!! Where are you?!?!? I need cooking help. So I just got around to putting the pot roast in the crock pot...which means on high it won't be ready until 7:30 ( a little late). Can I speed up this process a little? Like put it in the oven for a bit and then move it back? Or maybe just put it in the oven now and forget the crock pot?

Thanks for the advice about DH's job. I'm going to have him make a list about which is best for God, family, others, self, country and whatever else I can think of, and then have him look at the pros and cons.

I know you asked for Michelle, but.....
How big is the roast? You may want to sear the roast first. Get a skillet pretty hot with some oil in it. Make sure the roast is seasoned and then cook it on all sides for a bit. This will not only get the cooking process started, but it will help to lock in some of the flavor.
OR you could cute the roast up into smaller pieces. It would probably cook faster and be done before 7:30!
