mmm...i'm drinking my cafe' latte out of my Coronado Springs mug and somehow it's always better in a WDW mug...

tell me this isn't so.. :sad1: there is a 'too cool for Diseny stage'

ohh nooooo...

YES - and it freaking sucks!

Joey loved it - he loved it just like Danny loves it. He was as excited, didnt care if he missed school, would get excited just TALKING about getting a cookie on Main Street (which JUST jogged my memory...I should have bought him one, crap!!! :sad2: )

Now - when I called him about us winning the dream hour, from the Magic Kingdom, and I go "Joey! Did Jimmy tell you what we won?"

"no"

And I tell him and he goes - very monotone and unexcited:

"Oh....cool"

:scared1: :confused3

How could he not SQUEAL with glee for us? He used to LOVVVVE e-nights! He used to practically run through the park, skipping, on e-nights!!

So yes - they get to this stage and it stinks.

I couldnt even really get him any souveneirs. I got him a giant White Chocolate bar in Italy and a Falcons Helmet pin, from DtD. :confused3 I should'a got him that stinking cookie too - didnt even think of it.

:sad1: that's it, we are going to go 2xs a yr from now on and enjoy every minute until this stage sets in! haha!

I never went through it! i had a blast with my parents, went to college and then did the college program at WDW and became even more hooked b/c I worked there and lived in their backyard pretty much and now i'm obsessed!

alright all this Disney talk got me workin' this morning!!! My lanyard is itchin for fastpasses to fill it up and a KTTWC!!

Okay, I am back!! PJ, close your ears please: I just had my "annual". Yuck.

Busch Gardens is a nice park. Ive only ever been during "off season" - but I had a really nice time, when I went. My boys like Busch Gardens too.

Man - Disney is like crack, isnt it? It's absolutley ridiculous that not even 48 hours ago, I was at WDW - and today, back home Im looking at prices for a September trip. WTH is the matter with me??? :confused3

So - you wanna hear the prices? :lmao:

Sept 13 - Sept 17 : ASMusic (cuz they just re-did those rooms) = $371.00

Now, maybe Ill just get an AP if Im gonna be a maniac about going... I dunno.

I think Im going again!

Yes! Disney is my crack and reading is my crack!!!! I always figured that the more you went, you would kind of get over it. But it is so the opposite. You just want it MORE!!!

haha! they are saying how ALOT of the gals that are QUEEN BEE teens turn into QUEEN BEE moms, and seem to not let anyone itno their 'groups' and sometimes they don't realize they are being exclusively, but usually they do!

THEN they said that QUEEN BEE moms are also those gals that were not popular in HS and FINALLY became popular moms and they exclude ALOT and they wield their power!! :faint:

all this has me soooo looking forward to dealing with other moms! :lmao:

Sal & I are the youngest parents by faaaar in our area, unless you count the teen single moms. soo i think soo many of these moms look down on us and feel bad for us..wierd i know!
Okay, not me. I couldn't exclude people. Too mean. And we are the younger ones too. Everyone else is 40.
Can't get up!! I mean, i gt up early took ds to school and dw to work and i wanted to get some stuff done around the house, but for the life of me i cannot get going. I already had 2 cups of coffe and still feel tired.Maybe i should take a little napie poo?
I love that you say "napie poo"!!!!!!!
QOTH(question of the hour)
BAgels- which flavor and butter/cream cheese? Toasted, non toasted??
I just had a cinnamion raisin with cream cheese, not toasted.
Blueberry bagels, strawberry cream cheese

Can I tell you guys how much I love LOVE LOVE Garlic Cream Cheese.... and Garlic Cream Cheese on Garlic Triscuits?!?! HOLY COW! :lovestruc

I (and DH) am a garlic fanatic!!! Love it!!!

tell me this isn't so.. :sad1: there is a 'too cool for Diseny stage'

ohh nooooo...

At lunch with the ladies last week, GF said something about waiting to go the the deluxe resorts. I told her just wait and she and DH can go when the kids are grown. The non-disney mom (sick, I know) said something like "you will still go?" And I was like "YEAH!!" They both looked at me like I was insane. I guess I need new friends...;)

DHs family doesn't GET that we are disney freaks! we got married there and NO ONE thought we would follow through and they didn't get it when it was a NORMAL wedding, just in the WORLD!

some people! haha

both dates are booked... April 15th to 20th :cool1: and Sept 29th ot OCt. 5th :cool1:

just started to read and catch up and see the pics cat did and found this.

antss...........i will see you on the motherland trip looks like....

My parents don't understand either. When me and DBF were there last year, I told my mom that I wasn't really excited yet, she told me maybe that was because I had been there the year before. This from the woman who goes to Las Vegas twice a year. :sad2: She loves LV like we love WDW.

OMG!! the TODAY show is talking about QUEEN BEE MOMS!

Yea I know a few mom's that are like that.....BUT I really think it has nothing to do with age at all. At least the ones I know. I have friends who are 15years plus or minus my age. Sometimes when people think they are being excluded it's not because someone is trying to exclude them, but because they don't know the person wants to be included. I struggle with this same thing a lot as the pto pres.....dont wanna be pushy, but don't wanna leave someone out if they want to be in? kwim?

BG looks like sooo much fun! go ahead and try something new! although i would be thinking...WHAT IF..that whole day!

Yea, I know I know...still can't decide

umm..not me! we don't watch sports :) ahah! it's one of the things that attracted me to DH! hahahha!!! i come from a HUGE sports dad and dsis!!

omg I cannot wait! I have been a Bears fan since I was a little kid! I'm as old as the superbowl & up until they moved it this year, my birthday week was always superbowl week. so we're a bit excited around here.

I;m still thinking...maybe if I can swing a quickie trip in October...I'll be ok with not going for one day in March. We'd have to go just 5 days 4 nights....off to check pricing on that....

My answer is - Yes. And this is coming from someone who sat bedside for 4 days with someone unconcious.

I absolutely agree too. After Patrick died, Mike told me, that he was struggling so hard to breathe, Mike was holding his little hand, Patrick squeezed his hand, Mike said he told him it was ok, that we'd see him when we got there, that he didn't have to wait for me (I was still in the other hospital). Makes me cry just to type it. But to answer your question Mich, I totally believe it. Maybe she's just hanging on to hear someone say it's ok to go?

Good morning!

Hi there Tink

Can't get up!! Maybe i should take a little napie poo?

nighty night
QOTH(question of the hour)
BAgels- .

Everything bagels!!!! With light cream cheese, toasted!!!

second favorite: cinn/raisin bagels with light strawberry cream cheese

hahaha!!!

DHs father is like that  they go to FL allll the time, they pay for plane tix and hotel....just to sit on the beach! not kidding! they make food in their hotel room and all they do is VEG on the beach and they don't get why we go to FL and never go to the beach

okay i'm crying too as i read this. that must have been so hard to go through.

I wonder if she really is just waiting for SOMEONE to let her know it's okay to go..They are always in there telling her to hold on and all that..she's struggling with it all i'm sure.

tell me this isn't so.. :sad1: there is a 'too cool for Diseny stage'

ohh nooooo...

oh I'm sure there is...I bet it hits sooner for boys than girls. BUT when it does hit, you can still go...with dh or girlfriends! I'm thinking I probably have maybe 2-3 more years with Casey....thank goodness there's Grace!

Cat - how about school? Did Joey & does Danny do ok with missing for WDW? even in HS (for Joey at least)? I'm not worried about next year a whole lot...but the followiing year she'll be a freshman & I'm not sure. I hate the should you/shouldn't you debate....that's not what I'm asking....Casey is a pretty average student, tried hard, has a 3.6 gpa...nothing stellar, not gifted, just a pretty good kid. Everyone always seems to say "OH my so and so is a perfect student so we dont worry about missing school" ....what about an average student????

this is what i fear the most!! missing school! we cannot and will not go to WDW during the summer/spring break and after this year we will never ever go during Christmas again! hahah!! so i am hoping my kids are good students otherwise, they will not go to WDW and stay home with Nana and grandpa :lmao:

Chris everytime i see your avatar and look at your lil one i am amazed at hoe she looks eXACTLY like you!

i want a clone child!! haha! you and CAt both have one!!! me too me too!

hahaha!!!

I couldn't just go somewhere to veg...

no, it's ok...He was born with severe scolosis of the spine. Which we didnt' know in utero - I had one u/s at 20 weeks & dr didn't see anything (moron). The scolosis was so severe that it not only curved, but twisted his spine, which then protruded his lungs. So his lungs grew weird, they were only at 70% oxygen capacity. They really thought he was going to live, be on a ventilator his entire life, but live none the less. Well his lungs kept filling up with fluid & they kept draining them over & over again. finally mike said he's had enough & made them take him off all the machines, & let him sit & hold him. It took only about 20 minutes to him to pass. At first I was so mad at mike for doing what he did, but now in retrospect, its ok, I know my son is happy and not in pain. What kind of life would he have had? How would that have changed Casey's life...she was only 4? Yes I still wish every day that he was here, but not like that. After 8 1/2 very long years I'm ok with the way life has turned out. I really did become a completely different person after he died, for the better I think.

thanks for asking Mich -

sorry if it's a huge downer for everyone! Please don't let it be. Patrick taught me more about life in 36 1/2 hours than I would have ever learned all on my own. It's ok really
