i'm bummed one of my EBAY things came in! i bid on one of those 80s plastic charm necklaces that i collect and it arrives and 1 of the 10 charms is an actualy authentic grrr... i'm soo mad, but i'm sure it was my fault! no biggie, at least the necklace part is authentic and I had some other chain laying around so i made Autumn a necklace out of the chain that i use and the 'fake' charms and she loves it!

Just saw this next door...

My friend, Lisa, was the one picked to stay in Cindy's castle for the first night!

I talked to her this morning, while she was still in the castle, and she said that it's beautiful!!! They were picked after riding the Star Tours yesterday morning and it's been a crazy time since then. They have been interviewed by several media people and had their pictures taken a ton. Her daughter got to wear a Harry Winston Tiara on stage in Magic Kingdom worth $800,000! I had to explain who "Harry Winston" was! Ha! Disney is also giving them professional photos of the events that they attended and are giving them copies of the stage show that they were in on the main stage in front of the castle, and the T.V. interview that they did this morning (at 7 o'clock in the morning!). They also got to ride in Cinderella's glass carriage for a parade or something.

She said that they have been treated like royalalty and can't believe that it's happening. They wouldn't even let her carry her own fanny pack when they were going through the park. She knows that tomorrow it's back to reality, but for now she's soaking it all in.

Her daughter's birthday was at the beginning of this week, so this makes for a MAGICAL BIRTHDAY. I don't know how their going to top this one!

I hope someone else on these boards will be able to have this experience, because I know for them it's a once in a lifetime event!

Hi everyone.
I wanted to let you know that I am doing ok. I really just needed some time to myself. Between Terry leaving and my Mom and everything else, I didn't feel right about coming on here and being the dark cloud over everyone's head. I am sorry if anyone was worried, but it was just something I felt I needed. Terry officially left for the Middle East on Friday. I talked to him around 2am from Maine and that is the last I have heard. It is a very hard time for Ryan and I. I wish I could put it into words, but unless you gave gone through it, there is no way to really express the emotions that we go through.
I hope you all are well. I will try to check in once in awhile. I am going to play things by ear.

Whats doing??? Well just finished my last tour at work and i'm off until saturday!!!! Next week i work a single on saturday(single tour=8 hrs) ANd than a double on sunday and monday(double =16.5 hrs) And i'm off until the follwing sunday.I can't wait for it!!!!! So whats doing??? Hows everyone, Doing??? You guys are all in bed,party poopers! All right gang,i'm gonna get some sleep too. Ohh ds came out of school today and smiles and right away i notice something does not look right.So he ask's do you see something missing, daddy??? I look again and it hits me,We will be having another visit by the tooth fairy. Ds lost his upper front tooth in school,when he smiles he looks really funny!All right goodnight all!

Having my first cuppa coffee since Saturday - man does it taste GOOD! Of course I choose coffee over food! hahah I feel much better today...hopefully whatever the heck that was is long gone! talk about a colon cleanse

How cool about the castle stay....wish Cat would have won that! BUT Magic Hour is cool too...heck even the button was cool! So Cat, are you gonna scrapbook this ultimate cool awesome trip? So when Danny's 16 and wants to be with his main squeeze more than his mom you can look at it??? C'mom you've got some great pics! It'll be fun....heck, but me a bottle of wine & I'll come over & HELP you scrap it! Buy 2 bottles of wine & I bet we can get Michelle to join us!

I'm rethinking my March Disney visit....We've never been to Busch Gardens...it's only an hour away instead of 3 1/2 hours....I know my girls & if they don't get to meet Eyeore & Jasmine, they won't truly enjoy the day at MK. I really am thinking of a trip in Dec/Jan ......We love coasters, & Busch has 7 of them. What do you guys think? If we do MK it's probably just going to be me & the girls...which means I'd have to drive both ways the whole time. if we do BG I'm pretty sure everyone would go...all 12 of us. Still thinking......
