I am going insane waiting for this lady to pick up some stuff from free cycle! she was the first to respond, so i am giving the stuff to her, but she has blown off the pick up like 3 times now and i am soo annoyed! i toldher if she did not make todays pick up i was moving to the next person and she was all put out, i could tell in her e-mail.

grrr..the stuff is FREE and she is giving me a hard time

I want to take Jul to st. louis zoo, chicago planetarium, lincoln park zoo.

ughh bathrooms! can't do them! the tub i can handle, but the bucket stops there!! Dh takes over!

You are exactly like my sister. She used to never do the cleaning or cooking, but now she is starting to get into it. I think it was just b/c she was the youngest, got married early, her DH is older than she is...

I have to do it. If you want it done right, or done at all, do it yourself.

I also do the mowing (riding mower) b/c I cannot wait for DH to decide that he thinks it needs done. ;) Plus, I am at home, so I figure I might as well.

Everyone always seems to say "OH my so and so is a perfect student so we dont worry about missing school" ....what about an average student????

Well, to be honest- Joey isnt even average. He *just gets by*.He has, and always has had a LOT of trouble reading, which impears him.

THAT BEING SAID - he catches up fine. Generally that first progress report is - ehhhhh, so-so. But by the report card, he's right back to that "just getting by" grades.

Thing is, for me - it owuldnt matter if we went, or didnt go on vacation. Joey wouldnt do any better.

So, it's a personal decision I make for my family. It's approved time off from school, so they have to let him make up the work. And I like having the memories.

But, like I said - he is now "too cool for Disney" and would rather stay home, so it's no longer a concern. :rotfl:

If you can help it, don't do AGP on the weekend. It can get really crazy in there. Esp. if you are going to take a stroller in. Does she already have a bitty baby?

Is the museum the one at the pier?

I am a total princess too really, but I will learn anything. I didn't mow as a kid, but I kind of figure now that, heck, there is no reason that I couldn't do this or that. Just try and stop me!!!

We went canoeing last summer in southern Missouri and DH told me after that he figured that he would have to do it all b/c I would give up after like a minute. But I thought, if I am going to do this, I am going to do it all the way. Kind of like giving birth, you can't just give up and walk away. There's only one way out.

CAT:

is it difficult raising Teenage boys?? i'm worried i will be soo clueless!

You learn as you go.

I personally think boys are easier than girls. I never thought it would be that way, but I think it is.

Keep in mind, I was raised only by my Mom - no father around, my mom didnt date and I didnt have brothers or any male figures, and I figured it out!! :rotfl:

When Jul was 3 my sis was really kind of scared of her. At 3, they go through the bossiness and all. She just figured it was how Jul was and how girls were, as opposed to a stage. Well, Jul outgrew it of course and now her boy is in that stage.  Sorry, anyway, I think now she gets it that kids just go through stages.

cute pix Jen!
