Yea, I"m not sure where or why the girls got this idea in their head....but they both want to go. I actually made a deal last night with Casey - If she lands her double flip and double loop jump (both pretty hard) I'll plan a weekend in Hershey. I looked at the Hershey hotels - WOWSA! For that price I can stay at the GRand Floridian!!!!!

Hey There ! Some of us are going back to POP, Some aren't planning a trip for awhile, Cat went in Sept!

We'in in Crystal Lake, Il.....about an hour north of Chicago. & we've done Great America in Gurnee, We've done the one in Cleveland? We're done Coney Island, they just like that kind of stuff. I don't mind driving....During the summer, I like to explore & go places....so this would work. I dunno, see above,...we'll see if she can land them!

uh huh the way the sups here they feel like giving you a day off is gift from them... but really it is my benefit.. so we try to bit them with their game.... I know there's some job out there.. but I don think it is right for them to drive us out from here where we have been forever while they are just starting to learn the way to the exit door. Have seen the turn over of managers and directors but this one I tell you is thick ! A perfect 10 in MICROmanaging and had fired some of our good techs because her friends needed jobs ! ........ sorry didnt mean to bend your ear guys...

Hi all,
Well remember my family came to my house last night, right. I was supposed to work , but did a shift swap with one of the guys. He worked for me last night and i am working for him next week. Well something went very wrong,very bad on a call last night and the guy that covered my shift last night, is in the hospital. He got a chemical thrown in his eyes last night at work on a run/job. He has 2nd degree burns to both pupils themselves and burns around the eyes and forhead. I feel so terrible, he would have not been there if he was not covering my shift, but then again i would be the one in the burn center. I just fell so bad, kinda like it's my fault a little. I talked to him on the phone and he said to stop blamming my self and stop saying sorry, i must have said sorry to him a hundred times. He is due to be discharged from the burn center and go home on friday. I'm not even sure how this happened yet, i have to go into work tonight. So i will get the scoop at the fire house.

Yikes PJ !!!! I know this sound so selfish but it seems like what happend was a blessing in disguise for your part. But I am so sorry with the other FDNY. Your job faces danger head on. And I hope he recovers completely. I agree with him though. You didnt know this is/was going to happen and you never plan to get him hurt. The best thing you can do instead of being guilty ( which I know is hard ) is be his friend and be there for him. If theres anythign we can do to help.... you know where to find us

Well, I booked another day - Sept 12 - seperate from the package (too cheap too pay for dining for another day...although if they announce free dining ) So, it's turned from a quickie 4 day trip to a 6 day trip..... And I dont even have a retirement fund. Pathetic!

Cat, I am so not kidding that the silver band (not the Tiffany's one) is my ring! For our catholic wedding we just did simple bands b/c it was about us and our union before god so we didn't get anything gaudy. BUT all my other jewelry is not-so-simple. (Yes, Tiffany's)

I have my mother's engagement ring in our safety deposit box. All I wear is that silver band. I seriously think it was like sooo inexpensive too. And my hands are so small that I had to get either a 4 or 4 and a half. And then we I got pregnant and swelled, I bought a cheap-o claires silver ring until after Jul was born. And now Jul wears that one around the house!
