Hi all,
I'm home!! What a day,i'm beat!! So moms train was supposed to get into penn station nyc at 3:25 pm, actually arrival was 9:55pm. I was at penn station from 9pm with ds in tow.He insisted on comming to greet nana. I'm amazed he was able to stay awake that long!! So thats really it, picked up my mom and we went out to a dinner in brooklyn for a bite, by then ds was sound a sleep,so i just carried him and let him sleep in the booth at the dinner. Btw my house is Spotless,sadly someone burned it down at around 11am this afternoon. Actually I prefer a really busy, tough,stressful,crazy, full moon, friday the 13th, end of the world kinda day at work, then house work. I do not know how you ladies do it.I'm pooped!!! I need to go lotion my hands and put cucumbers on my eyes and going to bed, after my bubble bath of course!! All kidding around i really rather be at work really busy,then do house work. I swear i honestly don't get how you ladies don't go out of your minds and chop up a family of 6 after a house cleaning or house work.

Hmm, the cape is fun...The skating competition, well it's kinda but if they win, then it's I was thinking of trying to figure out how to maybe go to Boston & do Freedom Trail with Casey - I STILL don't know if all 4 of us are going, just me & the girls, just me & Casey....Like I said...Mike won't even discuss next trip with me until we come back from Florida!!

Nope, the ONLY car I"m getting after this one is a saab convertible!!!! That's my no more car seat/mid life crisis car!!!

hey Park this summer....is that close to you???? Do you know anything about the hotels in that area??? I looked & it's about a 11 hr drive from me...not too bad, I could do that. It's an amusement park, so Mike won't go. But I don't mind driving....

There are some days........................... I'm glad everyone made it in safe. I'm sure your dw is quite proud of you! I said the same thing after I quit work to stay home....a week sitting in a chair listening to people talk about their problems, even a week of trying to get someone to not kill themselves, sure as heck was easier than a week of cooking, cleaning and mommying!!!!

Well we made it to the basketball all star game last night - man what a mess! The game started 45 minutes late because sooooooooo many people were late because of the weather. It was really blowing like crazy. A lot of the roads here in McHenry County were closed.

Grace had a great time! She was named "defensive player of the game" Her trophy is nice and big (bigger than her sisters skating trophies she noticed)

I don't think I'm leaving the house today. It's only 26 degrees and it's still windy!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm scrapping ......

are you sure you want to do that ??? had been to Hershey a few times... but this was when my nephew was really small, came back the next time and he was ready for the Coasters. I love the Hershey Hotel... great for adults.. spa.. down time and all... the Hershey Inn is like the value Resort. I love taking my nieces and nephew on holidays esp'ly Xmas. It is true when you wake up the 1st thing you smell is chocolates... The reason why I ask you this is because when my cousins who lives next door to DL came here and got to see hershey.. all the kids could say was "this is it" I am about hour 45 minutes away... if ever you guys drive over yell !! It is next to an outlet mall... or maybe we drive on to Dorney Park more Coasters !!! keep me informed !! Or better yet maybe we can just drive to NYC AC, DC and many more !!!

One hotel I really like in Hershey is The Hershey Hotel. But its really pricey. I've stayed at a few hotels there, but I can't think of them right now. Would you go for just a few days? Where do you live again?
