We'll be there an hour after your - maybe we'll see you there! We're eating around the world for lunch that day. I'm crossing my fingers to hope that they allow people to exchange a CS for extra snack credits to use at the F&W fest. If not, we'll just have to save on the snack credits.

It was iffy on whether my husband would get home in time but he did, he made it home last Monday from Iraq

How awesome he actually got home! My DH is in the Air Force. Maybe they can talk a little cross-branch shop. DH's step-brother is in Iraq with the Army now. He's a mechanic, but they sent him over as infantry, so everyone's a bit nervous for him.

Regarding the early packing - Saturday was my last free day available. I'm in school, working part time, and on a trial team, so I have very loooong days. I'm taking a break from editing a journal article to post here. Yes, I'm in school on the weekend - I had a three hour trial team meeting before this.

Anyway, I have to remember to stop at HD for the green mickey heads!

Dh and I are going to be at WDW with our moms (as my counter says). Since I did all the planning, I printed two copies of our itinerary. One to carry with us and one in very large font to put on the back of the door so everyone else knows what's happening the next day (or that day, in the morning).

I also chose 2-3 CS places for lunches to choose from and printed the allears menus so we can sit down and, as a group, decide where to go rather than just picking what's nearby. Some of the CS places have unique things and who knows what we'll want the day of.

DH and I are on the South Beach diet now, so we have a plan to work together to eat decently. If we want a smoothie, we'll order one to split rather than drink the whole thing ourselves.

Also, I know I asked others for liquor assistance, but I packed a bottle of the low-cal lime rum stuff in my new hard-side suitcase. I wrapped it in a towel and put it in the middle of the clothes, so I think it should be safe. We're going to buy refillable mugs, so lime rum and diet coke sounds super yummy for a Florida while it's tropical vacation.

So now that everyone seems to know way more about me than necessary, back to work.

Oh! I'd be interested in a wine swap - we live an hour from the Finger Lakes. But how do you safely ship wine so that it doesn't cost more than the bottle itself?

If anyone else lives near me we could have a POPers reunion wine tour.

I called Disney to confirm everything and the CM that I talked to said that 99% of people in the hotels were on the free dining plan!!! Oh well I will still have a great time!

I'm packed! Just have to get the neccessities in the bags...contacts, deoderant, things I use every day. I work until 6pm on Friday, then we leave for the airport on Saturday at 4am! Since today is almost over, I've decided that there's only 5 days to go!!!

Afternoon, all! Well, it's 4:30pm here, and I still don't have my 'homework' done. DH and I went out and went to Belk and Kohls, spent about $80 on new clothes (all on clearance!)...at Belk alone we saved $105 on the three polios and new swim trunks for DH (we spent $18)!

But then at Kohl's DH's hip started acting up to the point that he could hardly walk. DH can tolerate A LOT of pain, and I could tell he was ready to cry. We got out as fast as we could and got him home so that he could take a muscle relaxer and pain pill. I told him this was a trial run for WDW, and how are we going to handle it if this happens next week?! I tried to convince him to let me rent an ECV for the week, but he refuses. So I guess we'll just be sure to take the meds into the parks every day and hope for the best. I need to go back and look at my schedule and be SURE we have time for breaks every day so that he doesn't have to walk toooo much at once.

The good news is that we've been home for 15 minutes now and DH said he's already feeling better, so those pills must work fast! Now we just need to go back out to the grocery store, and then once we're home I can work on my presentations.

Oh yeah, I was going to post about wine, too! There's a wine DH and I have gotten on Disney Cruises in the past, but can't find it anywhere else! I read a while ago that Le Cellier has it, too, so we're keeping our fingers crossed we can enjoy 'our' wine with dinner one night. It's a dessert wine, but it's so light and nice that it goes well with dinner, too. It's a Gaierhof Trentino Moscato....yum!

ok Since non of you guys are apparently awake yet this morning...I'm going to tell you about my dream last night...now remember I went to bed really late..& was drinking Chai tea as I worked...

I dreamt my girls & I checked into POP and the CM says "wow it's your lucky day I see here you've been upgraded to the Grand Floridian" I said I'm sorry I can't. the CM says, Mrs. Foley, it's free, you're paying the same price as you would here at pop, we only upgrade one guest every 50,000. I say I really am sorry, but you see I'm vacationing here with about 200 of my friends, you know the folks you see with those lime green mickey things that Michelle stold from Home Depot? Well whereever I go they have to come to. Can you upgrade everyone? The CM of course says errr no mam. So I say, that's ok we're good here...can you just give me a ground floor room?

What would you really do???

Packing is hard work! We went to Wal-mart and spent $200 on stuff for the trip! I have no idea how it added up that high. We got some new toys for DD, toiletries, snacks, MiniDv tapes, diapers ($20), and a $5 T-shirt. DH was floored with the total. He said "That's almost as much as the trip!" Actually its not, but its as much as our plane tix!

Anyway, I started at 4:30 and I've done the babies stuff and most of the toiletries/other stuff. Still have me to do, and DH will do himself with help.

I FINALLY found sunblock stick!! Now, I hope they do let me take it in my carryon, after all the trouble I went to to find it!! I didn't find it at Walmart, Target, Kmart, 2 grocery stores, or the first Walgreens I went to. Finally found it at the 2nd Walgreens. I had to pay almost $9 though, because it came with a bottle of Bull Frog gel sunblock. I couldn't find any by itself!

DS finally went through the DIS t-shirt designs last night and picked several he wants made!! ACK!! When am I going to find time to do that?? Well, I guess tomorrow, I'll head to Michael's and try to find what t-shirts we will need. Then Tuesday, while I'm at the dentist, DS can work on making the shirts! After all, he took that day off work, might as well keep him busy!!

i think we would stay at POP. Honestly!! we really really really love the POP JETS and DD has been looking FWD to them most and of course my window decorating box and then the MEETS!! i mean i feel like we're all friends here!!

Given all that trouble, I wouldn't chance it. I've heard lots of stories of people not being able to take sunblock through. Even if it's more of a solid, you might get a screener who still says no. Wouldn't it be better to go without it on the first afternoon than the whole trip?

I really, really haven't ignored this thread! I've tried to log in once a week or so and scan as many messages as possible, but my home, work, commute time just takes up so much of my day that time just flies by....I no sooner jump out of bed, shower, travel to work, work, travel home,fall in bed that it starts all over again.

Now here it is! and time has just crept up on me....I keep looking at the calender and thinking....it's here, better get it in gear!

This is my last full day at home before we leave for Pittsburgh Friday night!
This list of stuff to do is huge! Yet here I sit! Drinking Coffee and again reading up on the Dis.

All of you have developed such a great relationship....I'm envious!
