Today is the day...I am determined to finish all the crud I have to do before next Friday.

I"m in charge of the silent auction fundraiser at dd Grace's school in Feb and our first planning meeting is Thursday night BUT I worked on the agenda and packets till midnight last night.

Off to church...then it's shopping for those dang purple bras (& evidently underwear too)

ok Since non of you guys are apparently awake yet this morning...I'm going to tell you about my dream last night...now remember I went to bed really late..& was drinking Chai tea as I worked...

I dreamt my girls & I checked into POP and the CM says "wow it's your lucky day I see here you've been upgraded to the Grand Floridian" I said I'm sorry I can't. the CM says, Mrs. Foley, it's free, you're paying the same price as you would here at pop, we only upgrade one guest every 50,000. I say I really am sorry, but you see I'm vacationing here with about 200 of my friends, you know the folks you see with those lime green mickey things that Michelle stold from Home Depot? Well whereever I go they have to come to. Can you upgrade everyone? The CM of course says errr no mam. So I say, that's ok we're good here...can you just give me a ground floor room?

I'm here, I'm here! Sleepy, but here! DH is making something in the kitchen for breakfast/lunch/something, and then we're going out for a bunch of errands. Back to Belk to see if they have any good men's stuff on clearance, since I found such a good deal yesterday, and then off to the mall for his haircut and my little crocs shopping expedition. Then we need to go to the grocery, although we don't need much this week, since we're leaving in 6 days! Wah-hoo! 6 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And then I need to work on those dang presentations....*sigh*

Good morning Popers

This morning my countdown is down to 2 days !!!

The party last night went well. We rented a small movie theater and we watched Beauty and the Beast. She wore her Belle costume and got her hair and nails all done. She just turned 2 but LOVES to have her nails and hair done - I already have such a priss on my hands The cake had Belle, Ciderella, Aurora, and Ariel on it with little stand up figures. She got lots of princess stuff from everone who came Her favorite were Disney Look and Find books. They are like Where's Waldo but for younger people and Disney ! How fun is that !! I may have to find room in t he carry on. She loves them and they may keep her entertained on the plane

After present I had told Austin he could have the movie theater for the rest of the night and invite his own friends over. So around 8 I had more little ruggrats show up. I left and took Ella home while my parents were nice enough to clean up and DH stayed with the second set of kiddos. I heard the older one had a blast with a small theater all to themselves.

Hi ya'll I've not posted on this thread yet because I had been holding my breath on whether we would keep our ressies for 9/30-10/8 at POP. It was iffy on whether my husband would get home in time but he did, he made it home last Monday from Iraq and we are soo excited about our upcoming trip. It really just hit me today that next weekend we are in disney Please if you see us feel free to stop and say hello. I think we are also going to try to make a couple of pool meets and a maybe a monorail drink a thon. I can't wait to see ya'll and its so soon now We are celebrating, my husband's safe return and my 28th birthday See ya'll there

I am so sorry you had such a stressful day. ((HUGS)) or the rejection letter. Even though you weren't going to take it , it is hard to be rejected anyway. They just didn't know it when they had a good thing !! We love ya here !!
As far as Disne Dining I am so sorry they made you upset. I had my own little tiff with CRO a week or so ago and they got me so worked up. I personally think that the customer service when you call has really gone down hill.

Scappinmom - What was with all the stressful Saturdays ?! I am so sorry you had such a stressful day.

BethC - Congrats on the CROCS> I such a crocs girl. That is all I bring to Disney with me. If I could get away with it I would wear crcs everyday !! LOL. They really aren't the most attractive show even though I love them so much !!

Some parents really suprise me. I am a very protective parent. Austin is only 9 but I ALWAYS know whow where he is and who he is with. We like to h ave his friends over a lot and let them do a lot of fun things. Not only does it give me a chance to get to know the boys one on one. You also never know what goes on at other peoples homes and I feel more comfortable having 6 boys having fun in my house than wondering what is going on in someone's mystery house I barely now. KWIM ?! I would never even think to let Austin spend the night somewhere and I didn't even know the parents !! SHEESH !!

Good morning all! Oops, it's afternoon now! Well, I've done NOTHING so far today. I'm getting ready to go take a shower and head out though. Have to go to the grocery store and still need to find sunscreen towelettes or stick to take in my carryon!

Tia...hope you've dropped off the other kids by now? What (if anything) did their parents have to say??? I can't believe that!

Michelle...so glad your g'pa is okay! My mom called us last night wanting to know if we had any Benadryl. My dad (81 years old) had gotten stung about 15 times by wasps/hornets!! Luckily, we only live 2 miles away, so DH ran over some Benadryl pills, and some spray with Lidocaine in it for the pain. He then went in my dad's backyard and used up 2 cans of wasp killer spray! He had just gotten stung himself last weekend (at our house and only one time), so he knew what my dad was feeling! Fortunately, everything turned out okay, no allergic reaction, etc.

Well, better go. Still have to try on those clothes and see what still fits this bloated body!!

Debbie - I needed to borrow some shorts from my friend...They started me on some steroids for my Lupus, I only need them a few times a year, fall is usually a flare up time for me...so anyway, they make me gain weight like a sponge!

That's what I'm dealing with! I've been tapering down my Prednisone, but I am still experiencing swelling in strange places, not to mention my face and just the general retaining water thing! ARGGHH!!

ok I haven't read back far enough to know what the heck you guys are talking about yet...but I'm ALWAYS in for WINE!

Well, since we seem to all enjoy wine I was thinking about having a wine swap when we get back from WDW. We get a gourp of us who are interested and then each month or whatever we send one other person a bottle of wine from our state (local region). It's like a Secret Santa but for wine-o's! AND it can be for more than just Christmas! Yeah!

That's just plain bad parents. I'm sorry. Just this year I had one of dd's friends (she's 12 remember) drop off in the driveway & I was appaled! I can't imagine EVER doing that...even if my kids were 16 I STILL want to know who their friends are

Apparently, one got my message last night and the dad was here before 11am!!! I was shocked. Still not word one from the other mom. We have called twice this morning.
I feel bad for the kids mostly. One even said to me today how good it felt to sleep on a bed. What does THAT mean? I hope Ryan appreciates even more what his dad and I try to do for him.
