my breath on whether we would keep our ressies for 9/30-10/8 at POP. It was iffy on whether my husband would get home in time but he did, he made it home last Monday from Iraq and we are soo excited about our upcoming trip. It really just hit me today that next weekend we are in disney Please if you see us feel free to stop and say hello.

Given all that trouble, I wouldn't chance it. I've heard lots of stories of people not being able to take sunblock through. Even if it's more of a solid, you might get a screener who still says no. Wouldn't it be better to go without it on the first afternoon than the whole trip?

Oh, I've got regular sunblock in my checked luggage! I was just worried about that first day, since we wanted to head to AK as soon as we get checked in and our luggage won't be there yet! I've been told to stay out of the sun due to my lupus, so I don't want to chance even one day without sunblock!! Don't want to look like this (burnt, not embarassed) and end up like this or this !!!

60 hours and 18 minutes until my plane leaves for WDW!!!!

Debbie - You & I have more & more in common - I'm a Lupus freakazoid too!!!! & yep the sun is wayyyyy bad for it! I'm just going to break down and buy the $12.95 sunblock at the Pop so we can head off to MK when we get there.

Well, we're back from the mall and the grocery. Guess what?! I found my shoes! My crocs!! I ordered the gold Prima style from their website, but they were too big, so I had to send them back. While DH got a haircut (and the mall was closing in 15 minutes!), I ran down to Dilliards thinking I'd pick up a pair of the butter yellow Nile style as a substitute for the gold Primas, and I about had a heart attack when I saw that they had finally gotten the Prima style in stock! So, they had my size in gold, and I was so giddy I treated myself to a pair of the Athens flip flops, too!

Then, with 5 minutes left until the mall closed, I ran down to Bath & Body Works and bought some new body splash and body wash and lotion. It was buy 3 get 1 free.

And I still haven't packed or created my presentations!

I'm totally new to all this lupus stuff, so I may be aking you questions!! I'm renting a scooter for the first time. I've been on leave from work since mid-June, and even though I'm doing better, my energy level is definitely not up to WDW standards!! This will be this first time I'm not going commando!! Other than ADRs and MNSSHP, I plan on trying to rest each day. DS can come back with me and hang around the resort or take off on his own. I'm counting on him to get the scooter on and off the bus for me though. That part frightens me!!

So we were at Wal-mart today and we picked up conditioner since the "conditioning shampoo" doesn't do much, and DH says "we should probably pick up toothpaste." I say, "Oh, I'm okay with the hotel toothpaste." He says, "WHAT Hotel toothpaste?!"

Packing for myself was much quicker than packing for DD. So I'm done, and we only are on our 2nd suitcase. Just DH to go!

r u sure?? I don't mind paying for it...no biggie, I wasn't even worried about it to tell you the truth! Now my other item is of utmost importance !!!! NO way can you forget that one!!!!! Just got home from work and am now officially on VACATION!!!!

Even though we don't get to the world until Thursday I can relax a little and get to packing.(after laundry of course).

Thanks again to everyone for all the good tips.

My sister just called me--She gets to WDW tomorrow... I'm so jealous!
But... She goes home a couple of days before me and then she'll be the jealous one.

Is It Time To Go Yet? 5 More Days Woohoooo!

Good evening everyone.
We just got back from a B-B-Q. Really abd idea on a school night. But every once in awhile I guess is ok.
Let's see, this week I of course have to do laundry. blech. I am also working on cleaning my house. I like to come home to a clean house and clean sheets. That's the best thing, to come home after a vacation and slip into your own bed with nice smelling sheets. I have a few more things to buy before we leave. I did get a new bag to carry in the parks. Actually my Mom got it for me. I LOVE it. It is tan on the outside but lime-ish green on the inside, which I didn't even know at the time but that is a nice bonus. Need to charge the DVD player for Ryan on the plane. And just little stuff. Oh and finish our t-shirts and cut out our Mickey heads AND try to make a sign for our door.
Just one or two things, no big deal. OH AND finish typing our touring plans. Yeah.... typical Tia.
Anyway.... hope everyone had a nice weekend! Just think, this time next week we will all (well most of us) be at WDW!
I am up for a cell number swap as well. PM me if interested. Michelle, I already sent you one.
