My wife and I were just at Disney World last month and stayed at the Pop Century. We totally enjoyed the stay and easy access to the Skyliner. We wish the Skyliner would go to all of the parks as it is so much faster than waiting for a bus to show up and take you either to the park or back to your resort. Our room was very clean and the cast members were extremely helpful. Of course the food court is not much to rave about except for the breakfast which allowed you to get a freshly made omelette. We would definitely consider staying there again and recommend this resort to others. Also Dreams Unlimited booked our travel plans and they are top notch and we will use them again for any future Disney Trips.

POP is great. We never have any complaints. It and All Star Music have became our goto resorts. For the massive money savings. It’s hard to beat a value.

Glad to hear that you had a nice stay. We are staying at Pop for the first time in March.

staying at pop now... walls are super thin though and the lovely, and i mean freaking annoying screaming kids and parents next door are keeping me up while i try to fall asleep before my 5k race tomorrow... just lovely

I plan to bring a white noise machine; I hope that helps negate the neighbor noise.

One can also try a white noise app and/or earplugs. :)
I haven't found an app that I like; plus I don't like having an app running all night on my phone. I'm not worried about the noise bothering me since I wear hearing aids in both ears and remove them at night. My DH is a super light sleeper though (even with ear plugs, he wakes easily). We requested a corner room, so I hope that keeps the noise down a little. Who knows? 🤷‍♀️

i think this was an extreme noise case.. ive been here at least 5 times in last 5 years and this is the first noise issue i had.. the kids screaming snd patents yelling seemed like a big blowup... they eventually shut it down after a few minutes, but took 2 hours before the 8 yearold eventually stopped talking loudly... i got some sleep, now time to run

I was there last week and my room was not clean. There were long strands of black hair in the bathroom that were not mine. I stayed in the 80s section and did not like the long walk to the Skyliner or the lobby. The Skyliner is nice though. Got to HS and back in no time. Much better than waiting for a bus.

If you have screaming neighbors, I can tell you that you "will" hear them no matter what resort you are at. We had this type of neighbor at AKL and not only did we hear them while they were in their room, we heard them even more when they were on the balcony. Luckily they checked out a day later.

As some other people have said, if there is a family in the next room they can be loud. My wife and I brought our Bose noise canceling headphones. I then used the Amazon music app and streamed relaxing music to fall asleep to.

Years of traveling for competition cheer ( cheerleaders are LOUD) taught us to use a white noise app everywhere we go. I use Sleep Pillow and like it a lot. As a PP said it really doesn't matter what hotel you are in, Disney or otherwise you are going to hear your neighbors if they are screaming.

We have always been happy at the Pop. We love the new room layout. Being able to fold up the second bed is really a game changer as far a space in the room.

Yes the second bed was nice for us as well. And the newly refurbished rooms are very nice.

Love POP also. We were there in Sept and just missed by 1 day the Skyliner opening. Will get to try it this April/May though and can't wait.
