I asked this a while ago on another board but never got the answer, so I thought I would ask here.

Does anyone know if we can get the 2 large pizza, 4 dessert and 4 drinks meal(combo) at the pick up window using 3 adult CS and 1 child CS credits:confused3

Thanks:)

One week from today we arrive at the POP for 11 wonderful nights:cloud9:

That would be probably a better question in the Disney Dining Plan Subboard. You may have better luck there than here. Also, enjoy Pop in a week.

Now, I have to connecting rooms with 2 separate reservation numbers and I was required to pay two $200 deposits, one for each room. Not sure what would make my situation different than yours. I booked ours in March.

This is the norm also. I think it just depends who you get for a CM I have seen it work both ways. :)

So i was wondering if the rooms with views of the lake are considered preferred?. Along that same line ground floor rooms with views of the lake, again are they considered preferred?. Going at the end of Nov to see MVMCP, i am having so many what ifs with the talk of mnsshp:confused3. I have been twice, but Oct with MNSSHP and food and wine fest sounds so tempting

None of the rooms that have a lakeview are preferred. We always ask for a lakeview. Sometimes you can't actually see the lake since there are trees in the way. But it is usually really quite around the lake.

Hi there! We arrive at Pop Century in just 10 days!! I have a question for you experts. We had booked a free dining package and before we booked our flights we decided to add on a night to our trip. We decided to arrive a day earlier than we had booked. I called to add the day on, but it wasn't available with our package, so we just added a room only reservation only. Not a big deal since our plane doesn't land at MCO until 7:30 anyway. But the CM I was on the phone with said Pop would hopefully leave me in 1 room the entire time. Now looking my reservations over I see that they booked us a Pool View room on our night only and a Standard room on our package stay. I'm thinking this is going to cause major problems and I'd obviously love to stay in one room right to start with. Should I call the reservation line back and see if I can downgrade my first night in hopes of staying in 1 room our entire stay? Any advice or insight for me?

I would downgrade the first night if I were you, if that option is available. Also the non-pool view will be a bit cheaper i'm sure. Yippy on the extra day!! Good luck, and let us know what you decide and how it turns out!

They did that on my reservation for August as well. Not sure what was up with that. But I just called back and fixed it. Standard pool view on our room only and a standard on our FD reservation.

Last year we paid for a peferred room but wanted a standard room. I know wierd. But that was all that they had for the promos. When we checked in we asked for a standard and they gave it to us. They also kept us in the same room the enitre 11 days. You can ask at check in if you will be in the same room and they will be able to tell you.

Yeah, I figure it doesn't matter. Their going to get my money sooner or later anyway ;)

They already have mine. Well minus the last 87.00 we owe when we added the WP&F option to our tickets for whatever reason I thought I paid in full but they only charged me some odd amount.

I have been trying to pick up odds in ends here in there for the trip. That way the week before I'm not spending a ton of money trying to purchase everything at once.

mmmmmhmmm, that way you dont have to buy it all at once...right....we all know it's so you can get a bit of Disney fix right now ;)

p.s. (i do the same thing, shhhh:rotfl:)

I've done that as well on past trips, and doing it again for this trip. It does give me my disney fix and helps out with the pocket book. :goodvibes

However, this year we are only bringing 2 carry ons for each of us (me and DH), for a month long trip.:scared1: So, on our 1st day at WDW we are taking a cab to a Super Walmart to pick up all those toiletries we couldn't bring with us... and pick up soime refreshments.:drinking1

Good idea about the cab to get all that stuff ... toiletries take up so much room and are so heavy! I have to ask are you spending the whole time at one resort or are you splitting?

Great idea! Never thought of doing that. I usually spend a ton of money a few days before we go. I'm going to start "collecting" things here and there for the next few months.

We will be at POP September 25-30! There will be 11 of us total and I am officially psyched. We had been planning on going in Dec and staying at CBR, but changed plans midstream and now we are headed to POP! We will be surprising our two oldest right before we leave (thinking the baby would not understand).
Thanks to everyone for all the great info on POP. Only problem now is W A I T I N G!!!
Is it even possible!!??!!:bitelip:

:welcome: to the DIS and the POP thread! :hippie: Waiting is the hardest part ... stick around here, we all help each other pass the time by talking about Disney!

Hope with your plan change you might be able to attend MNSSHP ... it is SO much fun! :thumbsup2

We love Pop and have stayed over the years at many resorts (WL, CS, AKL, ASM, ASSports, POFQ, CB) but truthfully Pop is one of our favorites. We leave in 10 days for Pop with my daughter and her college room mate. The room mate has never been to Disney. I also am going in Sept with my friend who has never been to Disney. Love everything about Pop except the bus kiosks being last everywhere. We always get preferred rooms. Our last trip to Pop was Sept 2011. That was my son and I. My son is now a cast member working in security.
Can't wait to return soon!

Well ... agree with you on those bus stops, but figures it also helps keep us POPers in shape!! :goodvibes

:yay: Congrats on your son becoming a CM!!!

Ok, save me from looking stupid...

Is the tye dye cheesecake a dessert on the dining plan for CS at Pop?

Yes.:thumbsup2 For a dessert and a snack item!

I only paid a $200 deposit for the two rooms. I believe they're the same reservation. I had gotten a Pin for our vacation - free QS dining, and the dates worked out so much better for us than the normal free dining dates, so we went for it. We had to book preferred rooms, but with a 3 year old I wasn't upset about that. I'm just excited to go back to Disney!!!

:dance3: for getting a FD pin outside the regular GP offerings! We are lucky this year in that the BB FD starts a week before the GP, so my niece who starts school before Labor day is able to join us this year. :cool1:

As Kelly and JavArmy stated, call and see if POP can switch you to a standard room; usually it is not an issue to stay in the same room for the package portion. :)

Wow! Only 2 carry ons?? Good for you! Like the idea of taking the cab and getting all the small stuff that seems to really add up (oh and the refreshments of course!!)

Kelly ... we do this too ...plus it helps be be a bit more organized! (but I'm still up to all hours the night before packing...:goodvibes)

Well, I called Disney today to add room requests. Spoke with a CM named Lacey. She supposedly added king bed, lakeview, 4th floor & building 3, but I'm not so sure because my online reservation says "king bed" only. The other 3 requests aren't listed. The CM also said, "I also see you have a request for a refrigerator"? I said, "yes, we will need one for the babies". It didn't even dawn on me to ask her, "uh, hasn't all of the POP rooms been upgraded with refrigerators" (insert duh! smiley here)? I'll call back later this week and hopefully speak with a different CM and varify everything. What a day! It's gone from a "Disney Day" this morning to a "What the heck?" day this afternoon.:scratchin

Yes, this is what I'm thinking I should definitely do!

I know! How odd is that? I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one. It's crazy that the CM would think they would leave me in the same room with 2 different catergories though. And I honestly thought the Std Pool Views were not as good of rooms. I'm so glad to hear they'll be able to tell me when I check in if I'll be in the same room or not. That will help me a bunch. I really hope we are! And it would make it so much easier going down to get our new KTTW cards the next a.m since I have plans for us to make it to Epcot's rope drop! Wish me luck!!!

Okay, I have another question. My dad and stepmom are coming down in the middle of our vacation. They booked their airfare and room with Capital One reward points. Since they did this, I don't think there is any way that I can get them to hook up or link their reservation to ours is there? I'd like to be remotely close to them. Heck, even the same building would be nice. Is it worth me mentioning it at check out? I tried to call Disney and they told me that Capital One holds the reservation and the 'block of rooms', so everything would need to be done through them.

Hello there Grandma I am the Grannie and Christine is the Nana!!:rotfl2:

We are spending the whole time at POP. We will take a day or two and go off property. Harry Potter and Universal for a day,
