Good day everybody,

I have a quick question about the Pop Century room location. I booked a preferred room in the 60s building. I read other posts that said it was pretty noisy on the ground level near the pool. My wife is insisting that we try and get a ground level room. I told her that I read that it gets very noisy near the pool on the ground level. She says it dosen't matter because none of us are lite sleepers. Can someone who has been there tell me how noisy it gets.

Thanks,

Going in August and I can't wait.

How important is Pool View? Depending on availability, you can get a ground floor room that is not facing the pool.

We just returned from PopCentury, and I think all the walls are paper thin. I would think the closer you are to the main building, the noisier it would be. The kids next doorthat were screaming at 7 am every morning, sounded like they were in our room. Never again!

I would only want a room facing a quiet area and/or not on a main path. I stayed in the 70's section facing the foosball area and am a heavy sleeper and the noise woke my up. Also, it was intially hard to go to sleep when people were walking buy yelling to friends and family, whistling, etc.
