What are these weird soap dispensers at the All Stars resorts that everyone dislikes so much? How do they work and what's wrong with them?

They have soap dispensers in the showers. Similar to the soap dispensers in a public restroom for your hands. The ones in the showers have liquid soap and shampoo. I'm not sure why they are so disliked. We use shower gel, and didn't mind them one bit. I hear that Pop Century doesn't have the soap dispensers.

The soap dispensers ------i ts a big plastic box on the wall in the shower stall..you get shower gel and /or shampoo and conditionor .......they are just very TACKY looking to me,,I am sure this is to cut down on all the asking for MORE cute MICKEY soaps,,but really I think it just takes away from the DISNEY look...I am so glad to hear they will NOT be in POP CENTURY!!!

OH MY GOSH...........I have heard about the small rooms, but I just looked at the 3d view and I am scared.

I knew they would be small, but it looks like you will trip over the bed upon entrance.

They are the same size as the All-Stars. I did not find them to be overly small... unless of course you plan on having a huge party or something.

I think we have to try it - DH has a 56' (but he doesn't want to stay anywhere BUT WL!

Tyler, your fan base just grew by my family, DS, me, and my DH. We can't wait to go! We are staying for only two nights in February. I am so excited by this resort. I have never wanted to stay at the AS resorts, but PC seems to really speak to me for some reason and I LOVE the location. I think it looks like so much fun and I can't wait to look along the walls and say, "hey, I had one of those!". I don't think the rooms are as small as they appear in that 3D viewer.
Tyler, after you start you are going to have to guide all of us fans to the right rooms. I will be sure to check in with you once you get started there. Congratulations on your new assignment! I must be so exciting to start up a new resort.

I do not know if this has been asked but here goes - Will they have the refillable mugs at the PC? If so, how does it work? Do you buy the mug and get free refills or do you pay for refills?

I'm not sure if the beds will be moveable. In an effort to keep folks from losing things under the bed, and to help save Mousekeeping some time, the beds are on pedestals... kind of strange to describe, but the underneath will be enclosed, so you wont be able to stick stuff underneath.

Yes, each room will have an in-wall safe large enough for a laptop computer.

We would really like to stay at Disney and would love to stay at the Pop century resort.... drawback: We have 5 people ages 17, 16, 12, 12, and 57... I dont think they will allow that... I just looked at that room thing... can someone tell me if that thing just made the rooms look small?? I think it may have... cause that room really looks small.. smaller than a holiday inn room!!.... please tell me its not that small!! We have never stayed onsite simply cause we couldnt afford it and I havent been since late 97 so we really wanted to... can anyone help?

Could you please tell me what the wall icons on the 50's buildings are?! I can see that one is a 45 record but I cannot figure out what the other one is. It really looks like an old "lucky" package...I certainly hope not...

The room viewer does make the rooms look much smaller than they actually are.

You could always get connecting rooms... 2 people in one room, and 3 in the other. It would allow for more space, and two bathrooms -- something that would definetly come in handy.

My sister and brother in law have decided to join us at the tail end of our trip. This is a last minute decision so they want to stay at a value resort. My family will be at the BC. Is PC the closest value resort to the BC?

Pop Century would be the closest, yes. However, when it all comes down to it... the All-Stars are not far from the Beach Club either. 5 mins, tops.
