Doesn't feel like we go the normal bump in for sale contracts because of dues?
Agree. But also it’s currently somewhat easy to rent well above dues, so with Disney parks staying crowded, there may be less pressure to sell, especially with DVC prices lagging historical trends by a lot.I agree with the K shaped economy but suspect not everyone in DVC is in the right hand side of the K. And also think we are in for some rough times economically that haven’t been fully realized yet.
There is always cash rooms or renting DVC points, or buying another contract, lol. Those direct points can get deposited the same day, lol.I hate banking before I really have to. I did anyway so I could secure my 2027 January reservation. But I still hate doing it because it means I’m not going to Disney again until then.![]()
lol; don’t tempt me! This is my exercise in moderation. Moderation sucks! There is always cash rooms or renting DVC points, or buying another contract, lol. Those direct points can get deposited the same day, lol.
Ok, everyone - my last minute decision to visit WDW for a ‘few days’ over July 4th is turning into a very point heavy week-long split stay in 1 bedrooms at BWV and BLT Theme Park.
I’m rationalizing this as it’s a one-time exception, huge holiday splurge, needing laundry after our cruise, blah blah blah but I’m growing very concerned there will be no going back to studios after this stay![]()
My daughter has been begging me to stay at BLT and I figure go big or go home…but something tells me this trip will turn very expensive (more points) very quickly.
For those of you who went into DVC as studio-only families, were you able to remain firmly in that camp even after trying one/two bedrooms?
I’m already being asked bring school friends on these trips - far earlier than I expected - so part of me wonders if I should just admit defeat now.![]()
Sadly no. We can do studios now at DLR but I can’t imagine studios at WDW. Mainly because of laundry and it always being a longer stay than DLR.Ok, everyone - my last minute decision to visit WDW for a ‘few days’ over July 4th is turning into a very point heavy week-long split stay in 1 bedrooms at BWV and BLT Theme Park.
