Can someone tell me if the pools at pop century are heated? Thanks in advance for your answer.

If the outside temperature is in the low 70's, are the pools heated warm enough so that we can swim on those days? Remember, I am from Michigan and coming from 30-40 degree temps, so low 70's may seem warm to us. But I am just trying to get an idea of how warm the pools will feel.

The pools will feel fine..it's the air that could be chilly!

I hope you do have 70s while you are there, but keep in mind that there are days in the winter where mornings are near freezing and afternoons are in the 40s and 50s. So if you want to swim, pick a warm day because there is no guarantee you'll get a lot of warm days!

I have gone in when it is in the 6o's and the water feels chilly. i still have to go in a pool no matter how cold when I am in Florida:cool2:

the pools are heated but if your going in dec.jan.or feb..you wonnt be swimming ...its cold......

We just got back (our trip was Dec 15-22) and we swam! We had incredible weather, 77-80 every day and sunny, and we even swam early one morning, like 8am. The water was heated and was very warm. It was chilly getting out but just have towels ready to wrap up in. We are from New England so it felt very warm to us!

Yes explaining to my daughter that she may not be swimming in January didn't go over well. I hope we get some warm days so she can get in the pool, but I'm glad to hear they are heated. I thought that was the case.

The last few years we have gone late dec, Feb & Jan (going back this jan) and every year we have swam. The pools were always nicely heated. I've heard bad things about lowering the pool temps but I spoke to a few CM's this week and they told me the temp is high once again and really only gets cold when they have an abundance of rain.

Coming from Canada the kids and DH went swimming last Feb when we were there. Dh said the water was great, nice and warm, it was the air that was cold.

One little tip the life guard told us. If the weather is cool try the bowling pin pool in the 50's section. It is easier to heat and is typically warmer. The Hippy Dippy pool with all the little inlets (the flower petals) doesn't get as warm. So during the days we'd swim in the Hippy Dippy pool and the Bowling pin pool at night.
