Starbucks!

I hope so! I get my iced coffee black and add it in at home because they always put too much milk in it. I always say, just a little milk and it usually came to me with way too much milk.
Yes, it’s even worse when you get heavy cream!! A little goes a long way.
I always get cold coffee (iced, cold brew, americano, etc) with a “splash” of heavy cream and it often looks like a glass of milk with a splash of coffee. lol

So true! I say a splash of milk and it looks like a glass of milk with a little coffee in it. I finally gave up and fix it the way I like it when I get home.

I enjoy Starbucks, but they’ve gone up in price so much over the last few years.

I heard they’re bringing back the ability for customers to pour milk/cream and access sugar packets for their drinks which has been missing since March 2020. Essentially the return of coffee condiments.
That would be great. So tired of asking for milk and getting a tiny splash, then having to ask again and getting attitude from the barista. :(

Has anyone heard whether they're bringing back their annual holiday contest this year? Love that - it's festive and fun to see what they come up with and it's always good for picking up a few extra stars free.

Funny...I have the opposite problem. I ask for milk and they add like 1/2 a teaspoon...coffee is still virtually black.

They have a new CEO who is vowing to bring back the original coffeehouse ambiance. He also said he'd be cutting back on the discounted deals.

I only use SB when traveling, so doesn't make much difference to me. At home, I brew my own.

Wife knew when my 9 year old daughter and I stopped by Starbucks.
Wife describes it as the Daughter was "wired" on caffeine, windblown hair, chatty,, so specific instructions for Decaf. When the wifes Swiss accent rolls off her tongue, I best listen to instructions to avoid it going to the next level.

Our favorite Starbucks location machines have been down for over a week.
The Pumpkin loaf doesn't taste the same anymore. Maybe, probably they changed suppliers.

Over all the coffee quality has really improved since they went to the individual drip system out here.
Starbuck located in Wood Ranch is where you may see the most famous people stop in one their morning walks.

Starbucks in Downtown Disney is amazing how they get long line through in a reasonable time. Our favorite Starbucks. Most appreciative and nicest employees (Baristas?).
Opens Hours before the Park does and a great place to have breakfast in the meantime:

I take extra milk in a empty water bottle and add my own. They never put in what I ask. Then put the empty water bottle in the recycling.
Non Fat / Skim / millions of terms for no fat milk we learned around the USA and sometime they don't understand.

Yes. I pay often for a Tall, Skim, Peppermint Mocha with Whip....hot or iced depending on the weather. Yes, overpriced. (even though I buy Target -5% cards to put on my Starbucks App) Yes, I will continue to pay for this treat. I skimp elsewhere.

And yes. 90% of our Starbucks have Peppermint syrup year round, not just Xmas, thankfully.

Am I the only one who's afraid to go there because I don't understand a lot (almost all) of the words they use? Latte? Extra Pump? Foam? Vente? Mocha? And it goes on and on. I guess I'm too old to "Speak Starbucks". Anyone else?

They have a small location at the local grocery store. Don't drink coffee but bought a few of their pastries a couple of times to try them. Tasted very average and seemed wildly overpriced to me but maybe that is part of why they are popular?

The pastries used to be much better.
They are shipped frozen then thawed & served like the Dunkin Donuts does out here..
Over priced.

I sit and drink and watch app ordering people dash in to pick up their orders. Mostly just coffee now, don't much see people buying the pastries anymore.

Med coffee and a 3/4" slice of pound cake is $9.19 at the Parker Az Starbucks.
Breakfast with coffee at the slop chute around the corner cost that.

It's really not too complicated unless someone makes it that way by customizing their beverage. I just order off the menu and at most will ask for it without whipped cream. Or maybe soy instead of regular milk, on occasion.

Their app shows pictures and also lists all of the elements in it so you know what you're getting.

Sizes are kind of annoying but once you see what they are, it's pretty easy to understand. Main sizes are basically just small/medium/large.
Tall - 12oz
Grande - 16oz
Venti - 20oz

I absolutely love their Strawberry Açaí lemonade and the apple croissant. I tried the lemonade once without the strawberry açaí and it was not good so if they don’t have the strawberry açaí I just don’t get it. I also like the Apple Crisp chai drink they have out. I can’t drink too much of it but I do enjoy it.
My Mom and I go every week to the one at our Target. Our weekly time together. I did just find a new Starbucks that looks more like a coffeehouse that I go to on my own.
Is it over priced, you bet. I just enjoy going.

I agree.
Throw on a sweatshirt, the dog jumps in the truck, sun is rising, head across town, roll into the Starbucks, a greeting by name from the workers,, the ritual is probably 90%, the coffee a bonus.
Wife likes a hot coco and one of those egg muffins.
