Did we decide on the other color for our Mickey Heads?

I am leaning towards tie dye for the POP...

...although Christmas paper or colors would be fine, too.

I am soooo excited I can hardly think about anything else. Does anyone else lay awake at night thinking about Disney?

Not sure. One person said tye die and the other said they picked up some Christmas paper. If I can't find anything tye die I'm just going to color a white mickey head with markers and make it tye die.

I'll have to pay a visit to Michaels and see what I can find....I think tye dye would be cool.

Step one of the countdown is today, DD has her first ultrasound. I won't find out any details until tonight because of the time difference.

And guess what...its SNOWING here....ok, so its just flurries....but its pretty.

No snow on the 10th. For the first time I didn't get trip insurance and now I am starting to worry.

It's snowing here, too. Of course in Michigan but it's still only November. It's 28 degrees right now IT'S FREEZING! I see on my weather bug I set up for Orlando (keeping an eye on the weather down there) that it's 64! Which is perfect. I could stand it to be a little warmer, but 64 is just fine with me.

The countdown is on... 13 more days! My DH got his two big fat valium's for the flight. I hope they work. Last time he flew he would start shaking as the pill wore off. NOT FUN. I was a nervous wreck just sitting next to him!!

It snowed here too last night... not much, about an inch... but enough for everything to be white! And c-c-cold! (VT)

I agree, Bethipooh, I sure hope we all get down there as planned!!! but congratulations on your DD's first ultrasound, how exciting!! Did you find out??

We're going shopping tomorrow to get the last little things we need... one thing I'm wondering about, we have 3 poncho's that we got at walmart that have a little case. I was going to bring those, but I'm wondering if I'll wish I had cheapo's we could just throw out... what do you use? I guess it isn't very "green" of me to consider trashing a bunch of poncho's... just wondered what you do... (my dd wanted those added...)) I'm also gonna try to find a new purse, moleskin, body glide, wallet, the list goes on and on...

I just have to say that going to Disney during the holidays has made everything "pop"... grooooooooannnnnnnning at my own sad Vermonter humor. But seriously, it sure has made us all really into Christmas!!!!

Thanks for the tye die you sent me!

I woke up to see that dreaded white stuff all over my driveway. Boooooo! It's been so cold here today it feels like my feet have turned to blocks of ice. I have socks and slippers on but they are still cold.

I've got so much to do but it feels like I have lots of time to do it in. The reality is that I don't! I need to get my butt moving and get my travel shopping done.

Only 15 more days till Disney!

Ok ladies, I googled "tie die images" and found this page http://images.google.com/images?hl=...&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&resnum=1&ct=title

I tried printing one off and I was able to do it. I personally liked (I am counting across) numbers 4 and 18. When I clicked on those images the size was a good one to make a Mickey head from. I REALLY like number 4! It makes my eyes go all weird!

Well the flurries lasted here in NC about an hour...nothing stuck but it sure was pretty. But boy oh boy is it COLD!!!

So here are the updates (hope I don't bore you, first time grandmom to be here, and I still insist I am to young LOL)

Ultrasound went perfectly, they adjusted her due date by a week, but the baby is healthy and moving and has a heart rate of 167. They got to see his/her little hands but no clue on what he/she may be.

DS made in in from college yesterday and will be home a week. He is in culinary school so I plan on making him work in the kitchen.

I looked for tye dye paper at Michaels, no such luck...I need to get off my lazy rear and get to work on this stuff before I run out of time.

Well, last night I made two Mickey Heads, ugh... they look kind of crude and I had a hard time getting the tie dye to look like anything... I was pretty disappointed, but at least I have one to hang on my bag and so will DD....

We went shopping yesterday and I got a pop up hamper , a new bag (went with a smaller version of my healthy back bag), new wallet, and a tinkerbell sweatshirt. DD and I each have Disney sweatshirts from Walmart for $10.

Congrats Bethipooh on your first grandchild... people think I'm my DD's grandma, I'm 52 and she's 10... oh well, better late than never!

Well, my Mom (Sukie on the DIS) made us tie dye Mickey heads for our bags. We ended up using this:

9 days for us!!! We have stayed at Pop before - didn't love it, but are giving it a 2nd chance! I think my boys are going to FLIP for it! And that, to me, is what its all about anyway!!

I just wanted to wish all my Popsters a very Happy Thanksgiving, and to say I am thankfull for all of you, my Disney addiction wouldn't be the same without all of you!!!

Thanks for all the good wishes with the grandbaby. All we can ask for is a healthy baby and a safe pregnancy. I looked up heartrates online and it seems to be split as to boy or girl..lol Healthy is all we ask for.

Less then 2 weeks to go...who is ready??? not me. The guys will be camping next weekend, so I plan on packing then.

Pikester, I like that tye dye design, I may try to print it out and see how it goes!
