Less then 2 weeks to go...who is ready??? not me. The guys will be camping next weekend, so I plan on packing then.

Wow I leave in a week and four days and I have nothing done yet!!! And to make matters worse we have several things going on including our workplace children's Christmas party of which Dh and I are half of our social committee. I have no idea when I'm going to squeeze in packing .

As for the baby, congrats and both my boys had heartrates under 140 all my girls were over. But you never know .

Yesterday I was having 2nd thoughts about leaving... didn't want to leave home during the holidays, we are missing all the local festivities it seems... but then I got on here this morning and am right back into DISmania! whooo hooo! the countdown is on!

Monymony, thanks for making this thread! As a newbie, it's been so nice to have a smaller group of DISers to hang out with. When I start roaming around I can easily get overwhelmed, but this thread has been a great place to land. I hope we get to meet you and thank you in person!

Yesterday I started packing! woo hoo! Got the bathing suits all together... after yesterday it's gonna be hard putting a bathing suit on but I'll do anything for my DD, even that!

Yikes! I ditched my bathing suit back in August, and said, remember to get a new one........guess who forgot!!!


It might be better for the locals that way.................


We arrive on the 10th and will have lots to pick up, stroller, fridge (swaps) and a Garden Grocer delivery to intercept.

We are in no hurry and will be around, maybe if the weather is good, I'll let the kids swim while I take care of business.

My next availbale days are the 13th and the 16th.

Mal just woke up and pulled off the next link.

She was running and yelling 10 more days through the house!

She's one tired little girl.

Last night was her nutcracker performance and we had an after glow party and we were up til midnight.

I'm surprised she didn't sleep longer, she's 4.

The Show was amazing. I've never seen any Nutcracker before, but this is an edgy show that the teachers created.

Kids are so excited to go!

I'm starting to get really nervous about getting everything done. I've written down each day for next week and plan on making a list of everything I need to do each day. I'm hoping this helps to make me less nervous.

I'll be keeping an eye out for those Tie-dye Mickey Heads! Hopefully I won't accost to many people before I find one of you!

Hi - I just found this thread... we're coming to Pop, Dec. 14 - 21! Woo hoo! The six of us in two rooms; 2nd trip to Pop. Our kids are like a bunch of Tiggers, bouncing off the walls in excitement. Me, too, actually! We can't wait! Twelve days till we leave (we're going to split the drive into two days.)

I'm like you Pikester, nervous at the same time excited... I have our suitcases lined up down one wall in our living room and just keep adding things to them, and DH and I sat down last night with the long list of errands that have to get done between now and Friday morning when we leave... it's a lot of work to go on vacation! haha... Plus I've been sick for the past week with a hard cold. It finally moved from my "on fire" throat to my nose, so I know it's not strep, yea! Just hoping and praying DH doesn't get it while we're down there... he's the only one who hasn't had it yet...

Question: Should I print out maps of the parks before we go or will we be able to get them at Pop? Or at the parks themselves?

You can get park maps at the "Help Desk"(I can't remember what it is actually called) in the lobby, it's also the same desk where you can get all your ADRs printed off.(I will be doing that by the way.) You can definitly get park maps at the parks themselves and you can also get a schedule of events for that day.

I hope you are feeling better. You can get all the maps you need at check in, just ask for them. Also as you enter the parks themselves they have maps and times guides for all the extras.

In Epcot at the Kodak center, Figment, you can find a Kiosk and take your picture and send it via Email.

I'm sure there's others, that's just the one I know of.

I'm way more blonde now. Way short in the back and it gets longer towards the front.

I printed my tye die mickey head and I have to laminate it.

I will also be decorating my windows............somehow............I can't forget to bring decorations!

When in Epcot, look for the lights in the sidewalk near the front of the park at night. Very cool. There's some on each side.

Look for the singing drinking fountain near the fountain.
