POP Before the Christmas Rush-Who's with me!?

Hey Pikester, I'm from Vermont! We'll be there around the same time... maybe we'll see each other at the pool! My DD10 would love to have some buddies to pal around with...

How do I wear my mickey head? hanging from our purses? or do you actually wear it on you? I'm not big on wearing nametags, but if it meant meeting some of you, I would do it! ROFLLLL

We're a multiracial family (white parents, brown dd) so we'll stick out pretty easily, so if you see us, please say hi!

Maybe we could plan a big meet around the 10th... a lot of us will be there at that time... is there a way to connect like some place where everyone could sign in and leave notes how to meet up? It's so hard to know what we'll be doing ahead of time... but I'd love to meet all of you!

I think most people hang the mickey head from their bags. I plan on doing that.

I think meeting at the pool would be fun!

Hey everyone we have 19 more days till we leave for Disney....I can not wait. It's our first time going during the holidays there.

here is how I am getting through the next 3 weeks...

DD has 1st ultrasound ( she is so far away in Alaska) on Friday

DS comes home from college on Saturday

Thanksgiving
Shopping...lol

DS goes back to college (nov 30)

Then its only a few short days to decorate the house, then leave for WDW...

I still have Mickey Heads to make, shirts to make, magnets, and I may get brave and try to make window clings....yeah right..lol

we will be @ all star sports dec. 15-20!!! everyday we call to see if pop opens up or if we can check in on the 14th and so far no such luck. we are so excited. we went this same week last year and the crowds were great! school is still in for most kids. of course, i'm taking my dd out for that week but we are going to the mvmcp and i can't wait to go back to the osborne lights and see all the decorations thru out disney world!!!

We are going, too! December 7-14! It will be me, dh and my two boys, Tristan (7 - who will be celebrating his 8th bday there) and Aidan (4).

This is my 5th at MK and second time staying at a resort. First time at POP. My dh's second time to WDW. We went before our kids were born back in December 1998. It was a wonderful time of year to be at WDW which is why we chose this time again.

My boys! I can't wait to experience this wonderous vacation through their eyes. I'm so excited and nervous! I'm all stressed out, too. My neck, back and hip are all out of alignment. I think I need to see a chiropracter before we leave and a massage therapist! The stress of planning the perfect vacation for my family takes a toll on ya.

I like the way Bethipooh4 broke her days down till WDW...

*This week will be the usual week although I finished buying everything I need for the trip today!!!
*Continue working out like a fiene and eating right. Gotta lose some weight to gain some weight at WDW
*Search for a King Carousel gumball machine for son's birthday next weekend! Not easy.
*Friday and Saturday will be the norm except competition for my son and dh at a taekwondo tourney.
*Wed, Thurs and Fri of next week the boys are home for Thanksgiving! Dinner at mom's house! Plan Black Friday shopping! First stop GAMESTOP! I heard it's gonna be good.
*Saturday get ready for son's birthday on Sunday.
*Sunday party day!
*Then count down 7 days until WDW. Will be a normal week but a highly anxious and creeping week. Of course then I have all that laundry, packing, contact Post office and such, cleaning, etc...Maybe it will go faster than I think.

19 more days!!! AHHHH lol eeek I think I'm gonna cry.

Okay, I have reached the dreaded LIMBO stage today:

I have planned, read every piece of literature, reread.... reread again, just in case I missed something... I have started packing, but really need to wait to see what the forecast will be. SO, I am in limbo. I have bought everything that can be bought, set aside everything I can think of, and am now just waiting...

25 days until I am in WDW. Three weeks and 4 days... *sigh* I don't know if I can make it!

I haven't done anything to get ready either Beth. I really need to do some shopping for travel stuff and get the luggage out. I guess I'm too busy thinking about other stuff.

I almost passed out today! DD6 still believes in Santa and months ago said she was going to ask for a trip to Disney. I got my husband on board with the idea, got it planned and today she says I'd rather have lots of presents instead My Dh almost got excited, he likes to save money! I showed her some old pics we had, changed her mind and now we're back on! It was close!

Last night the dining CM told me not a single room is available for the month of december. Not even the most expensive ones.

OMG...now I am scared....not one room....WOW....

When we went 2 years ago it was so quiet and not crowded at all...well the MVMCP was a bit crowded, but we walked onto rides. The only time I noticed a crowd was at parade time.

I am really worried how crowded it may be.

Any clue on the other color of the Mickey head yet?

that the rooms are booked due to Pop Warner(7th-14th). That way the kids will be busy during the day so we can have the parks.

I am leaning towards tie dye for the POP...

...although Christmas paper or colors would be fine, too.

I am soooo excited I can hardly think about anything else. Does anyone else lay awake at night thinking about Disney?
