Poolside service at the GF

Has anyone had lunch or drinks by the GF pool? As many times as I've stayed there I've never had the urge to do this and I know they don't have people come around and take drink orders but I do seem to remember seeing room service bring out food to the pool. Not sure they were delivering something to the snack bar area or to a guest.
I'm traveling in a few weeks w/ girlfriends and wondering about our wining and dining options We're hoping to spend lots of time by the pool~

DH and I had drinks by the pool while on our honeymoon. A waitress came by and asked what we wanted. It was really nice and relaxing. Sorry, can't answer your question about food but drinks we definitely available. Have a great trip!!

There is a phone at the bar for food orders. They have a menu from which you can order and then it is delivered to the pool. It is very convenient!

We ordered at the pool bar and I believe room service brought it out. Drinks were easy as were some regular things like sandwiches, and chips were already out at the pool bar (didn't have to be ordered). One day we had a really good cheese and fruit tray - just hit the spot.

I'd recommend sitting at the bar by the theme pool. You can order drinks and they have a limited food menu there. If you can get a cabana, then I wouldn't hesitate ordering food through private dining and have it delivered. The birds are not shy in that area and I just wasn't comfortable sitting out at an open table. Just me though. Also, private dining will pretty much deliver food to you anywhere on property. Even to the covered lounge chairs on the beach.
