Magdalene, if I ever decide to take the time to add an Avatar, it is just as likely to be the one I created, which would only build on my tagline.

As for more FP+ after the first three were used, we probably didn't worry about getting any additional ones...... unless we went to another park. Epcot is so limited in enticing options to start with, and for the most part you have to take a hike to find one of the limited kiosks in order to see if anything worthwhile is still available.

Reading your TR I see so many familiar DISers and realize how much I miss reading everyone's adventures - real life and vacation.

Love the pics! Glad you didn't get drenched (still have a couple of 25th WDW birthday ponchos...the yellow with 25th on the back!).

Pat, looking forward to more bathroom pics as well.

Did I miss your comments about VWL? (Not that I would ever skim!) Would like to know where your studio was located and if you ever saw EWP (also my all time never to miss fave...and bathrooms, of course).

I think the drugs are making me ramble...hope it was not a car accident any of you were in and if so, hope everyone is okay.

Seems like a very nice morning at Epcot! You went through your three FP+ quickly. I wonder whether you managed to pick up more for the rest of the day...

Marv is right- After three , we are hard pressed to find another attraction to get another FP+ for. Spoiler alert - With it being August it was usually 3 and then out of the heat.

Super fun EPCOT photos! (or as KukiLala says, "Apricot"- she's sitting next to me and says HI!) Love all of those rides equally, but gotta say the Seeds Tour was super cool! I'd do it again in a heartbeat. But wow! The window washers. What a cool new feature of that attraction.

I missed why there were walls...?

I guess those windows need to get washed sometime.

The seeds tour is on my list.

Walls at that time of year could be the transition to fall flowers maybe ? Or some needed repair work. It just seems like every park had walls for constructions. Maybe EPCOT just felt left out.

I snuck that one in. I also tried to get the golf ball but that was a bit ambitious, like trying to see all of DL and CA in ONE day.

One of the reasons I come around here- Other people's adventures and the family atmosphere. We all share the love of Disney but connect with each other and that is what makes all the "connections " so special and personal.

I did bring it up so I will expand on that now that things have calmed down a bit. I was leaving a work meeting Thursday March 5, and on the way back to my facility during rush hour in the rain. I got hit broadside in the driver's side as I was making a left. There were two lanes and one stopped and I could see no one but obviously a car was there and/or coming too quickly to see me.

Lots of damage to my car but insurance deemed it repairable. I have a rental for now that well...isn't my car. Since I was on "work time" it is always requested I go get checked out but I am fine. I am thankful for good car insurance and that whole process has been wonderful and easy.

I really think the last car vs. car accident I was in was in college. Looooong time ago and that guy ran a red light but only clipped me.

My side airbags deployed and looking where the impact was and my seat and center bar between my doors all that really saved me.

All in all not an experience I ever want to do again but I had the best possible outcome and no one was hurt. The driver of the other car was out and walking around right after as well.

I'm also glad you stayed in the resort for clean people. (super cute sign). Epcot in the morning looks great. Lots of rides done in record time. Too bad Marv was having trouble staying awake. He looks a little more alert on Spaceship Earth. I've never caught the window crew. What a neat addition.

This trip we did pretty good. There have been times I have been soaked head to toe or stuck on a boat dock with lightning.

Well, we had been to DHS for a bit, then MK and MK so it finally time for another park.

Well I got news today that they found more damage and are going to total the car.
In a way I am relieved due to the extent of the damage I saw but I am going to miss my blue car.
Now I get to car shop. But need to find time to do it. Another crazy week people...

I can honestly say I have never seen them clean the windows at LWTL. I bet it was HOT out there in August. My next trip is in August and I'm worried about the heat already.

I am fine- Now to deal with getting a new ride. I really liked my car so back to the dealer I went. After my research and knowing what new bells and whistles they added I think I have a fair deal. Now to make sure the insurance check comes in at full value and I will be somewhat back to normal I guess. As normal as my life gets.

I think in the end it is best. I will get the same make and model just newer and with a few upgrades. Now I just need to get excited about it. My big bummer is I can't get the same color. But how often am I on the outside of my car. Just hope I can find it in the parking lot.

Oh I can be a real B when it comes to car salesmen. The good news is the one who sold me the last one is quick and easy. So I went back tonight and yup quick and easy and a fair price. Now I get to sleep on it and check on other place that will probably bring out the B and then I will call him and tell him to put a bow on it.

I was in stealth mode shooting.
I was surprised about the window cleaners to. Especially that it rained soon after. August was hot but really no more hot than even some Oct trips. Up early - back to the pool or room midday and back out at night. And look up to watch the weather.

I still need to find the doggie spot at DHS.

Yeah it is. I still need to go pay my last respects to it. I really hate it but essentially it sacrificed itself for my life and for that I am grateful.

Holy moley, that was an awful accident - thank God, indeed! How you came out without any serious injuries is really amazing. Still, it must leave one psychologically shaken for awhile.

Bummer that you are not able to get the car in the same color ... But don't you love the new car smell? It is good the car totalled ...with that much damage it might have been hard to feel safe it in again. Hope you'll post a pic, if you have time.

Hmm...wonder how I did not notice that VWL is for clean people ...I only walked by the sign a few time a day. Guess, I will definitely have to go back...although, am not a big fan of the tree view, which is pretty much the main view, unless you get one over the pool...even trees block some of that view. Sitting on the balcony staring at trees has just never been all that relaxing for me...BUT...knowing other clean people stay there is definitely a huge plus!!!

Unless I put the Dory one on there.... Even the blue was a light blue that looked kind of silver in the right light.

The car really did take the hit for me. Probably the best reason I am getting the same car again. I will say I do pause more and am more "chicken" making either a left or a right across or into traffic. I wait until it is VERY clear. Driving this rental stinks because I am not comfortable in it and that just makes it worse. Hopefully the new car will give me some comfort and familiarity. I will admit right after I did a little cheer when didn't let fear interfere with driving.

I do love the new car smell and luckily it does not bother my allergies. I like that I can get more bells and whistles and more safety features... I would have wondered if every creak and noise was a problem and looking at it today it was just sad seeing it with so much damage.

Once I can get the new one home I will be sure to post a pic.

I would love a view of Bay lake and I could see a bit through the trees but overall trees fit in the whole Lodge theme so either trees or pool would be fine for me. Knowing other clean people stay there is a HUGE plus...
